The craft that I present to you today is a handmade Mouth Cover to which I wanted to add the steemit logo. It is made in cross stitch. My mom is a seamstress, I had not decided to start sewing until a few months ago, I am not an expert but I guess some things are inherited and I manage to understand quickly. Les cuento que empecé hace días pero mis problemas de visión no me permitieron avanzar tan rápido como quería. La manualidad que hoy les presento es un Tapabocas hecho a mano al cual le quise agregar luego el logo de steemit. Este realizado en punto de cruz. Mi mamá es costurera, yo no me habia decidido a empezar a coser hasta unos meses atrás, no soy experta pero unas cosas supongo que se heredan y logro comprender rápidamente. El área que anhelo aprender es el de lenceria íntima. If you know the cross stitch technique Si conoces la técnica punto de cruz Sewing the pieces . Coser las piezas We are going to sew starting from the center of the taba bocas, as shown in the picture, you can do it using the machine or by hand. In my case I did it by hand with a stitch known as back stitch. This stitch consists of going forward, back to the last stitch and then take the needle out one stitch forward, and so on until the stitch is finished. Vamos a coser empezando por el centro del taba bocas, cómo se muestra en la imagen, lo pueden hacer usando la máquina o a mano. En mi caso lo realicé a mano con una puntada conocida punto atrás. Esta consiste en avanzar, retroceder al último punto y sacar la aguja un punto hacia adelante, así hasta culminar. Sewing the pieces . Coser las piezas Once the middle parts of the mask are joined, we proceed to join them together. They are sewn from the front to the inside. We are going to join all the way up and down, leaving the ends unsewn. It is important to note that if you want to add a logo, a design, do it before joining the pieces together. Una vez unidas las partes medias del tapabocas, procederemos a juntarlas. Se cosen son el frente hacia dentro. Vamos a unir por todo lo largo arriba y abajo, dejando sin coser los extremos. Es importante acotar que si quieren agregar un logo, un diseño hacerlo antes de unir las piezas. Once the pieces are sewn together, we turn the mouthpiece over at one end. Ya cosidas las piezas, vamos al voltear el tapabocas por uno de los extremos. Find the elastic and cut to about 14 cm, you can adjust to your size, taking care to leave an extra cm for sewing. At both ends fold one cm inwards together with the elastic and sew. Buscar la elástica y cortar a unos 14 cm apróximamente, puedes ajustar a tu medida, cuidando de dejar un cm adicional para costura.
