How are you guys. I'm busy as usual. Ramadan and sahur were added to the intense tempo between school and children.
My days are pretty sleepless. In this intense pace, I stayed away from dieting.
In these days when I do not limit myself to eating and drinking, I wanted to make a dessert that I love to eat.
The name of our dessert is Kadayif Dessert with Custard.
I love kadayif. My husband also loves milkshakes. This dessert is perfect for our family.
Now, I will share with you the recipe of this dessert, which gets full points both visually and in terms of taste.
Muhallebili Kadayif Dessert Recipe

- 400 grams of kadayif
- Half a glass of granulated sugar
- 3 Tablespoons of butter
- 1.5 cups walnuts
For the custard:
- 1.5 liters of milk
- 2 cups of sugar
- 3 tablespoons of flour
- 4 tablespoons of starch
- 2 packets of vanilla

Let's prepare the kadayıf first.
Take a pack of kadayif in a large pot. If the kadayif is in the form of kalo, you should crush it with your hands and turn it into powder.
We add 3 tablespoons of butter to the kadayıfs that we put in the pan and start roasting the kadayıfo. The stove should be low. Otherwise, the kadayifs may burn. We must constantly stir. Otherwise, the kadaifs will burn.
After the butter melts, we add granulated sugar to the kadaifs.
We continue to fry for a while with sugar.
When the kadaifs turn pink, we turn off the stove.
After turning off the stove, we put the roasted kadayif in a deep bowl.
We are preparing the walnut. If your walnuts are in small pieces, you can add them directly to the bowl.
Since the walnuts in my hand are large pieces, I made them a little smaller.
We add the walnut pieces to the kadayıf and mix well. In this way, the kadayif part of the dessert is ready.
Now it's time to prepare the pudding for our dessert.
For this, we pour all the milk into the pot. Then add the flour and starch. We also add sugar.
We are constantly mixing the custard. Otherwise, the bottom may burn. We cook ladar for 8 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
When the pudding starts to thicken, we turn off the stove. Add the vanilla and ground butter to the pudding and mix it well.
Now the most enjoyable part of preparing our dessert has begun. We will bring together Muhakkebi and kadayıfo. Get a suitable tray for it. I used the baking tray.
We pour half of the kadayif mortar on the tray first and lay it on all sides of the tray.
We pour all the custard on the kadayifs and spread the custard all over the tray with the help of a spatula.
Pour the remaining kadayif mortar over the pudding again.
We cover every part of it so that the custard is not visible.
Our dessert is ready. We need to rest it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
When we serve our dessert, we should decorate it. The fruits you will use on it will look much fresher.
I decorated my dessert with strawberries and chocolate to serve. It was magnificent both in taste and appearance.
I cut the dessert into small squares and sliced the strawberries and placed them in the middle of these squares.
Then I grated the bar of chocolate and added small pieces of chocolate to the strawberries.
In this way, the honey is ready to be served. He had a very appetizing appearance. It got full marks from everyone who ate it.
