Good day empowered women
Today, we are celebrating our 2nd month of being together as a married couple. I want to share how we face the 2 months of being together while starting the new chapter of our life.

Since I am 6-month pregnant now, we are living with my parents in a room in our house for two months already. We are still saving to build our own house and for my maternity expenses. We had vowed to be with each other in sickness and in health, in richer and in poorer. Today, we are just in the process of starting a new home and still adjusting with each others differences. We are learning how to budget and spend what is necessary.

Today marks the 2nd month that I decided to change my last name and signed a covenant to live with this man for a lifetime. This will be a roller coaster ride, wherein mixed feelings will be present; excitement, fear, trouble, happiness, satisfaction, commitment and more but at the end, we will be together in riding and stepping down from the roller coaster.

As a simple celebration, we just go out for a midnight snack at a pizza house. Since we are on budgetting, we only ordered 1 round of Hawaiian pizza for dine and a Garden Express for take-out. We are both busy in our works, but we spend time at night to go out and have something on the table for a small talk. We talk about our next plan, how to solve problems that we encounter and how to save more money for the next expenses.

Also, walking together in the middle of the night gives us a peaceful walk. We are inside the barangay hall premises that's why we felt safe and secure.

This is our simple life together. We may start in the lowest part but atleast we know we are moving little step each day to get better.
