Hello to everyone. I love to crochet all sorts of granny squares. And so do a lot of you. They are pretty, easy to learn and pack a visual punch and they can make unmatchableyarn match so well. You can use them in so many ways such as beautiful afghans, bags, cardigans. Really just about anything and everything can have an awesome granny square.
You must prepare 4 different colors of yarn and cut the yarn after each row to change and rejoin.
Here is how you can easily crochet it.
Make a magic ring or Chain 8 and slip stitch. Make 16 double crochet and slip stitch.
Change color. Chain 2 and make 16 puff stitches and chain 1 between each puff stitch and finish with slip stitch. Puff stitchis 3 times yarnover and the pull through all the loops on hook.
Change color. We are going to make cluster stitches so slip stich to chain 1 space of previous row and make 3 unfinished double crochet and then pull through all 5 loops on your hook.
Change color and rejoin in any space in previous round. Chain 3 and make 2 double crochet in same space. In next space, work all of the following: (3 treble crochet, chain 2, 3 trebles). Corner made. 3double crochet in next space, 3 half double crochet n next space, 3 double crochet in next space. Repeat from * to * . Repeat from * 3 more times. Then work 3 double crochet in next space, 3 half double crochet in last space and join to 1st double crochet in row and finish with slip stitch.
