Hello dear friends of this honorable community, it is time for me to take part in this contest with the topic: Describe what you do for personal development.

When it comes to development, this aspect is very Important to me. We are all humans and change is always constant. When we remain stagnant, it doesn't go well with us. Development and increase in whatever we do is the most important thing. I personally do not like to remain the way I am. I love self-improvement. If I stay without new things or improving my self or my career, I don't feel good at all.

Sometimes, it takes a while lot to improve oneself and in most cases, just a little thing or routine is required. I personally have been trying my best to improve and I am going to list some of them here.

Description of what I do for personal improvement

Reading and studying
Attending seminar

Exercise

Health is wealth. This is a popular saying which so many take for granted. This simply means that if you are healthy, you can be able to acquire wealth. Only those who are strong in health can think of what to do to make money. With this is mind, I am always grateful to the giver of life and health. Then I try my best to improve it through regular exercise.

I can play football, run, walkout and other exercises. When it comes to playing football game, I have it at my finger tips. In fact, it was because I love playing football game that made me to print a steemit jersey so that from time to time I can always play. Just this past Sunday, I and my family went out to play football on the steemit jersey.

Healthy food

Our health depends on the type of thing we feed on. When we eat healthy, we will live healthy. Healthy foods keep us in good health and that is why as much as possible, I try to eat healthy no matter what it will take. To achieve this, I try to grow my own food and even to process my own food. One of such food that I process is mixed cereal.

I combine almost all the food nutrients that the body needs to process it.

Soyabean
Guinea corn
Millet
Dried unripped plantain
Prawn
Groundnut
Rice
Dates fruit
Yellow corn
I process these into flour which we make as pap and enjoy. Eating it has kept I and my family away from the doctors. To read about how I process them, please visit this post of mine below

Vagetables and fruits are also part of my meals to keep healthy.

I also try to take some natural remedies at home to keep me fit like the dongoyaro or Neem tea

Reading and studying

The mind is also part of what I try to improve. And to achieve that,I try my best to read some motivational books but especially those that will improve my career. I also devote more time to reading the Holy Scriptures because it helps me to learn how to improve my behavior and thus be able to deal peacefully with my fellow humans. Just today, I read the text for the day

That is just one out of the many other scripturally based publications I read to improve my spiritual life. You can join me to read from www.jw.org. you will come to agree that these are just what the mind needs to improve the body. Yes, man has a special need for the Creator and if that need is not filled,one becomes empty. So I try my best to fill that need.

I also read a lot here in steemit because it is a must. Reading publications from others makes me improve in my own publications. With the engagement challenge ongoing, it becomes a must that I have to read to engage with others and this improves my career as a steemian. Yest, I am in steemit full time and as such, I seek to always make improvements in what I do. I have made a lot of friends as a result like @patjewell, and others who are so dear to me.

Seminars

Attending seminars help broaden by knowledge and help me see new dimensions to things in life. I learn a lot from others when I listen to them speak. I have attended so mane of them in the past. I have attended the ones that has to do with finance, health, training on how to grow organic foods and others. But the most recent is the one that has to do with health. Edmark seminar.

Recommendations

What works for me may not work for everyone but I will still recommend perhaps, there maybe someone out there that might benefit from what has helped me.

I will recommend exercise. It must not be rigorous but moderate and if it is regular and consistent, the result will be evident.

I will also recommend growing your own food or perhaps processing it yourself or you can look for those you know that process food in the best possible way and patronize them. Eat good food for a healthy living.

I strongly recommend reading Gods word daily. The reason is because, bodily training is beneficial for a little whereas godly devotion is beneficial for all times. Whatever we are doing to improve our physical life without considering our creator will only benefit you for a little. Whereas taking time to develop spiritually holds blessings now and in the future.

Conclusion

I have shared with you all how I have been improving health through good food, attending seminars, reading and studying and the likes. I will keep improving my health because it is wealth. Health is wealth

I can attest to this and this comes from good excercise and the type of food we consume too.

You have a thing with food just like me because I take my time to pick out the types of food to consume and soyabeans is one of my favorite as I love drinking as tea, cooking soup and always adding in different breakfast.

Oh I can relate to the advantages of good serminars because your u don't go back home Same way you came.

Your routine activities like exercise is a very healthy one for the body because i know that working without physical exercise will not do you good. Also engaging in the spiritual development is what will keep us here after.

Omo that football game is unique, is good for you because it will make you flexible. Your diet are awesome, I can remember those days I use to prepare mix cereal for the family but they won't eat it, but personally I love eating them but me det fear fat ooo. Thanks my dear for your wonderful comment. Cereal is very good. The truth is that we may not always have the time or money to add all the nutrients to our diet. But just one potion of this mixed cereal contain them all.

This is what I don't joke with🤣🤣. When it comes to eating I make sure I don't play with my stomach.

I love the way you took to explain it out and the types for food we feed on. Yes you are right because eating doesn't guarantee our health unless we mindful of what we always eat. This is true and I can attest to it because I have attended a lot of seminars and I have obtained a lot of knowledge from those seminars. It's even when I attended a Steemit seminar that have helped in shaping my steeming life as of now because of the information and knowledge I obtained from the seminar

Yes momExercising your body makes you to be very strong and healthy . Having a a good balance diet is what we really need for the body .Also reading books or novels broaden our knowledge and makes you to reason fast .lastly attending seminars is really good even because you learn a lot of things and you can never go back home without learning something new which can help you

The taste of dongoyaro is nothing to write home about but I like to take it notwithstanding the taste.

For sure health is wealth and only a healthy and sound mind/body can function properly. We really need to take care of our health at all cost. It amazes me at times when I see people joke and neglect their health.

Eating healthy food is also an essential aspect of a proper body functioning. We need to watch what we eat. I love the fact that you grow and process your own food. That way your family stays healthy always.
