Dear friends of #steemwomensclub, I am happy to be with you again, as I mentioned, I am a flower lover, and today I want to tell you a little about orchids, they are one of my favorites.
Maybe you are like me you are in love with the delicate beauty of orchids, or maybe you just want to keep that plant that you received as a gift from someone you love on a special date.
If you are in the second group of people mentioned above, there is something I must tell you about! Once you have the first bloom on your hands, you won't be able to stop. The charm of orchids will take hold of your heart, and their colors and shapes will make you want to grow more and more of these flowers.
It's true. When you least expect it, you will always be looking for a corner to place another vase.
Orchids are epiphytic plants, which do not take root in the ground, but can settle on any surface, giving preference to tree trunks or even stones. The cultivation of orchids is very easy, but before taking care you must identify which species you have acquired because each one has its cultivation peculiarities.
Orchids are adapted to partial shade and need weekly watering, but be careful not to soak them, they don't like that. Never place dishes under the orchid.They bloom once a year, with a few exceptions.
If you like orchids, be sure to grow them. I guarantee it will be worth it.
