Introduction

Hello fellow women, you are welcome to my blog.
Today, on my DIY, I will be sharing my procedure for homemade liquid soap.

As a woman, there are certain things you need not to buy from the market, rather make it by yourself for it saves cost, energy, reputation and even gives knowledge.

As far as 7 years ago, I was taught how to make homemade liquid soap, disinfectant, perfume, air freshner and pomade.
That has saved a lot of cost because at a point in time, I was producing Liquid Soap for sale and I had great profit and promising customers.

I only handed over to someone when I was going to a year course and before I returned, the person squandered everything so I was discouraged to produce for sale, but I do produce for home use only till date.

In producing Liquid Soap, one needs a measurement of every little ingredients because if you add too much, it may give you an unpleasant results.
And if you don't add ingredients one by one accordingly, the result while also not be what you are not expecting.

When I started the homemade liquid soap, I have to grab every step and what ingredients to be added before anyone.
But today, the chemicals sellers has helped the ministry by numbering each chemical accordingly.

Ingredients

Every chemical has its function.

• Caustic soda: is a thickner
• Soda ash: it regulates the concentration of caustic soda which is corrosive to the skin.
• Sulphonic acid: it is also a forming and cleaning agent in the soap.
• Sodium luaryl sulphate (SLS): this is another foaming agent
• Texapon: This is yet another foaming agent though some don't use it when forming booster is there.
• Foaming booster:yet another foaming agent.
• Colour: This is just for beautification.
• Perfect: just for fragrance when using the soap.

So why not sit and relax while I take you down step by step procedure.

Procedure

First of all, get a long turning stick and a 15litres of clean water.

The first ingredient to be added is caustic soda and stir.

After it dissolved, add soda ash and also stir till it dissolves.

Sulphonic acid is the next chemical to be added.

Followed by sodium luaryl sulphate (SLS) and stir till dissolved completely.

Then add texapon and also stir

After stirring, add foaming booster and also stir.

Then add colour and also stir before adding your perfume finally.

After all ingredients are added and stirred thoroughly, add more 5 litres of water to make it 20 liters, cover and keep for 24hours before using.

And please don't allow your hand or skin to touch any of the chemicals because it irritates the skin
