Greetings dear beautiful women of #steemwomensclub. It is a pleasure to be here and to make my first post in this wonderful community. I am looking forward to posting good content and enjoying and supporting those of others.
Here is my achievement 1 post for verification.
My post today will be about how I made my mother's twists. She has natural kinky hair which has been tinted gold and bleached halfway.
The hair was washed the previous evening. It is always good to start on clean hair. The things I used to make the twists are:
- A fine comb
- Leave in conditioner
- Coconut oil
Starting at the back, I sprayed a small section of hair with the leave in conditioner.
Then I put some of the coconut oil on my hands and rubbed into that section to seal in the moisture.
After that, I took out a small section of hair. Seperating it into three strands, I braided it for a short distance then switched to two strands and twisted the hair. The key to bouncy twists is to make it on moist hair and twist not too losely nor tightly.
In the same spirit, I continued twisting the hair progressively towards the crown. I decided to create a side part so I sectioned out hair in that area. When I was done twisting the rest of the hair, I braided that part into tiny cornrows, twisting at the very ends.
And there you have it, beautiful bouncy juicy twists. The final picture was taken indoors due to the heavy rain outside.
Thank you for reading my post. Feel free to comment on how you do two strand twists😊.
