Hello dear ladies,
First of all, I want to say that I am sorry about the forest fires. I hope authorities will bring forest fires in Turkey and other countries as soon as possible. I had a tiring and enjoyable day today. We continue to explore Istanbul with my friend. Our plan today is to visit Sarıyer district. And as you can see in the first photo, I broke my record by taking 13,991 steps.
I woke up at 8 am and got ready and left the house. I met my friend in Taksim. From there, buses go to Sarıyer. While Taksim was quiet, we wandered around the square for a bit. It's nice that it's not crowded, but it's concrete everywhere :( The mosque you see in the photo is new, but I don't think it was necessary because there were already two mosques in the back streets.
We took the bus to Sarıyer. I want to show you the Beşiktaş stadium with the most beautiful view. If you wish, you can see as you go down from Taksim. I am a fan of Beşiktaş, and I love our stadium very much. Our stadium is right across the sea.
Our day continued well as the bus went from the beachside. We decided to have breakfast at a place in Sarıyer. This is the view of that place. However, it was not a clean place. Unfortunately, we couldn't get up because we ordered our breakfast.
We finished breakfast towards 1 pm and decided to take a walk. We walked almost the entire beach. However, the weather was very hot. We chose to walk on the side near the sea because the wind was blowing there. This is the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge you see. The second bridge of the Bosphorus.
As we approached the bridge, we started to see historical buildings. Both modern architecture and Ottoman architecture are together. I like old architectural structures more.
But the last photo is most interesting. It is as if both modern and old architecture are together. There are many such buildings in Sarıyer. We walked for two hours on the beach. Every time we got tired, we sat and rested in a cafe or the park. I got home towards evening and fell asleep immediately because I was exhausted.
Stay with love...
