STEEM WOMEN CLUB COMMUNITY: CHAIN OF GOODNESS / HELPING AND BUYING BABIES MILK AND DIAPERS NEEDS

The current worldwide outbreak of COVID has left many people with concerns about the spread of this disease. And many people are affected by this situation called "Pandemic".

The sadden part for today's situation is most of us are not prepared how to deal with this called Pandemic. Lockdowns and quarantine are necessary, may be inforced in our baranggay in order to stop the spread of the disease. So people needs to stay in home and can't go to work.

It was happened that my sister went to her husband's hometown which are located in Toledo City. It was 35 kilometers or 22 miles distance between from our location Lapu-lapu City to Toledo City.

Last night, my sister @jacky07 called me via messenger and asked some help or asked if i could help her husband's nieces. These siblings are two months old and 2 yrs old. My sister told me that it was two nights already that the two babies was crying a lot because of hunger and their parents had no milk to give. The 2yrs old elder baby has a medical problem. A complete blockage of the large bowel (intestinal obstruction) that's why she needs colostomy bag for her waste.

Upon hearing that story, i decided to contact and message my friends @remay @gingfriend20ph @momshie85 @rhina05 asked them if we could collect any amount that we could give to buy Milk and diapers for the babies. And luckily all of them are willing to help.

We don't have much but our willingness to help is there. We gained the amount of three thousand pesos (3,000 php) in all and sent the total amount that we gained to my sister via Palawan remitance.

After my sister @jacky07 claimed the said amount. She bought what the babies needs which is milk and diapers.

Later on i got a video call from them and i was surprised upon seeing the face of the child's Mother thanking me and to my friends for the things we did. My heart was touched upon seeing tears in her face brought of joy upon receiving a gift for her daughters. And most especially the happy faces of the kids with their milk and diaper on their hands.

And as of now, the 2yrs old baby still needs colostomy bag for her daily needs. Hoping for somebody can help her.
