THE DIARY GAME: IMPACT EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM DAY 14 AND GRADUATION. 16/12/2021

Hello ladies welcome to the last day of the training program which is the graduation ceremony of my 14 trainees. They are all wonderful ladies. The morning hours were as busy as a bee with us trying to make the necessary arrangements for the ceremony so we don’t disappoint our guest. The hall was already arranged and decorated, food was okay, cake and drinks were in place. The program of the day was as follows;

By 11:30am all trainees and some parents were present with us. We waited for some few minutes for the guests of honour to arrive then we started at 12:00pm. It was a fast and short program. We had opening ceremony and installation of chairpersons, the trainees talked to us through a speech by their coordinators. It was a soul touching speech that I felt like crying out of joy.
There was a speech from us the trainers, launching of our brand name YVES BEAD TIFY and presentation of all the products made by the trainees during the program. Each trainee wore her slippers/sandals and jewelries and they were all looking so beautiful in them. The guests and parents were all amazed when they saw the items being made within the time frame and had to request for more training programs from us.

Later we had cutting of the cake, a word of encouragement from the manager of ALACS, award of prizes to outstanding trainees and presentation of their certificates.

The day ended with refreshments, merry making and appreciations from trainees and their parents. It was a beautiful day and we look forward for another rendezvous with another group of trainees. The aim of this training was to empower women with hard skills so that they can be able to earn money through making any of this items and also help in talking care of their families. It expected that these ladies practice these skills giving them. I will be bringing a follow-up on their progress after the training.
