DON'T DARE SETTLE FOR MEDIOCRITY
Have you ever felt within you that where you are isn't where you should be? You see yourself in a puddle and struggles to get out of the puddle. What did you do to make the situation better? There's a big difference between wanting to do something and actually doing something to achieve what you desire.
Are you the type that constantly complain.
I don't like my situation.
I don't like the economy.
I don't like my job. One thing or the other.
But when a little light of opportunity comes our way, to take us out of the dump. We have a readymade excuse to dish out.
I don't have time.
I am still a student.
I don't have money to travel.
My siblings depend on me.
Joyce Meyer said "I urge you today not to settle for less than the best God has for you. Don't allow yourself to get into a position to wonder why someone else ends up with something and realize that you had the same opportunity and passed it up"
Using the Israelites as a case study, we see when they got tired of their situation and cried out to God. God as always came with a solution. He told them to "Get up, I will take you to a good and large land; a land flowing with milk and honey."
God was only waiting for them to realize that there situation was no more favourable to them. He was only waiting for them to cry out to him. The same applies to us. When you realize things aren't working out again, did you cry out for help? Or did you stay there despite what you realized. God doesn't give us directions to follow if it was not for our benefit. Even though there are obstacles to face he knows the end results.
So instead of complaining, ask God how to make it better.
Be ready for the answer he gives you. Be ready ready for the journey to achieve success. Step out of your comfort zone. Be ready to endure pains to enjoy pleasures.
Don't settle halfway.Don't think it is too hard.
There's no situation that you can't pull through, you were there for a reason.
Remember, don't you dare settle for less.
My sister @yuceetoria you have made my day. Infact I had always believed that it will always work out well each time I cried out to God. Thanks for re-enacting it here.

Cool one there for a wake up sis @yuceetoria. You've actually read in to my mind and what many people go through. Many of us tend to give excuses and stay lazy not wanting to move out of our comfort zones. We always expect everything to meet us where we are. Like you said if one wants to succeed you must work and stop complaining even when there's nothing to complain about. Even the most successful people worked hard to get where they are so what do we want?
Thanks for sharing this inspiration my dear

Thank you very much for the words. Most people tend to always provide excuses in every situation.
