Steem Women Club #37: The feature I love the most in Steemit

First, I hurriedly wrote about the monetary aspects of it. The steem and steem dollars that people get rewarded for their original content but then I had to pause because obviously, it cannot be the only reason why people come here nor the feature I love the most. Below I have made lists of the benefits I have gained from Steemit.

1. Knowledge:

I remember vividly on 1st January 2021. I woke up restless, tired about academic stuff, how I was going to get by. I started browsing the internet and came across Steemit, first I was like what is this? It was not hard for me to fully understand it because for one writing is my thing, so I started researching full-time about what Steemit is. It gave me the push that I needed to start writing again.

2. Friends:

Now this is the good part, Steemit has connected us in more ways than one. These amazing people always find ways to help everyone out. Teaching us, guiding their members, sometimes classes are held for newbies. To mention a few, they comes in the form of @ngoenyi, she is the Uyo State representative for Nigerians, the African women moderator and the founder of @steemkidss. You get to see also @goodnews, and lots of other amazing people. One way or the other, we always find ways to communicate, and help someone when they are in need. Most weekend, we have a general zoom meeting where everyone have fun and give their ideas on stuffs.

3. Skills:

The contest has a way of keeping you up your toes, some ar challenging, while some are for fun. Trust me, there is never a dull moment. Recently, @campusconnectng concluded their game challenge where a team of four were put on a different challenges ranging fiction writing, to graphic designs to music contest and finally a drawing challenge.

4. Reward:

Finally, the rewards comes next. This is one of the major factor that draws people into Steemit, but what few don't know is that it tests your patience a lot. Steemit rewards its users with Steem and SBD, but not immediately, they have to know that you are serious with your work and can write a copy void of plagiarism.
