Introduction

Hello and welcome to my blog for another participation in the Latino Community SEC S10W5 on the topic "From the street to a home". Below is my entry in line with the contest theme.

There are a lot of street animals in my town, these animals find food for there self and walk about the environment every day. People adopt this animal so that they can be part of the family and they are guided and given a sense of the location of where to stay and sleep when it gets dark. I am going to be sharing with you some street and domestic animals that can be seen on the street and at home.

Are there street dogs/cats in your town? show us.

Rearing a Cow

In northern Nigeria, the usual way of rearing cows is by hiring a shepherd and allowing them with the shepherd who guides them, but we train cows now at secured enviroment sometimes, we give them food and take care of them.

We also allow the sheep and goats to move around to green grass areas to feed, after all the movement of the animals, they come back home at night where they sleep for the night.

The turkey and the chicken also move around the gutters and grasses to look for little insects to eat. We adapt these animals to be around us and we also give them a sense of belonging and ownership of space to retire for every night after finding what to eat.

Despite allowing them sometimes to feed for themselves, we look after them, treat them, and sometimes provide food for them. We love these animals and treat them well.

What do you think of the adoption of these little animals? You've done it? Tell us your adoption story and show us the before and after of the animal you adopted if it is the case.

my new dog

I love adopting puppy Dogs, I love dogs so much and it is my best pet for life. It is good to adopt animals to continue keeping them alive and around us which will be important for future research purposes and other things.

I have just adopted a beautiful poppy Dog breed and the dog is so beautiful and smart, I named him Jaja. I use to have a dog but when I looked at Jaja's mother when she was pregnant, I fell in love with the breed and I requested to adopt the baby when it gives birth.

I adopted Jaja when he was just 3 weeks old and now Jaja is clocking a months with me, I love Jaja so much, everybody in the family loves him and we treat him like a family, not like animals. My mum calls him the Last born of the house.

What do you think is the solution to avoid the abandonment of animals? What should people know before adopting a street cat/dog?

people should develop a love for pets and animals and have the thought to adopt them so that they will not be moving anyhow in the street, we should also have the mind to adapt these animals for future research purposes to keep this species alive and healthy now and always.

One important thing people should know before adopting this animal is to accept the sense of responsibility to take care of them and also be willing to tolerate them, These animals do not grow to reason like humans so they behave anyhow sometimes.

People should put into consideration the cost of maintaining these animals, we must take them to doctors for checkups, and give them food and shelter, it will be easier if we treat them like members of the families and care for them at all times.

Conclusion

Street animals are everywhere, and sometimes they contribute to the beauty of nature and the environment. We must give attention to these animals and take care of them. Thank you for reading and I wish to invite @ishayachris @m-fdo @karja @yakspeace to join the contest.

I also like pets like cows and goats. You are have very much domesticated animals, and Nigeria has fertile land suitable for cultivating livestock such as cows and goats.

Oh yes it's a very beautiful puppy, and you are well adopted as your best pet
