Good day, dear Steemians, this is my first time here in this community and I'm so delighted to be here and also to participate in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 4 contest organized by this community. The topic for this week is "This App Will Change Your Life". We all know the importance of Apps on our mobile phones and today I will be sharing with you one of my favorite apps.
Brief Discussion about App
An App which is the short word for application can be defined as a software program designed to perform certain functions. The invention of the app makes the use of computers and mobile phones more useful, lively, and educational. Steve Jobs was the name of a young man who visualized the app store because he imagined if there could be a store/place where software can be bought over the phone lines.
The very first mobile App which is a snake game which is a build-in version game was developed on a Nokia phone which is Nokia 6110 in 1997 and many people accepted and loved the app. On 10th July 2008, Apple introduce 500 apps in their apple store, and on the 6th of March 2012, the Google play store was opened too, and this is where people go to download different Apps to their phone.
There are many different Apps on this store, and some of these Apps help in editing both words and pictures, some are used when relaxing and to ease stress examples of such are games and story Apps, there is a scientific calculator that can help when calculating, and also an App that helps correct our grammar. We have social media Apps where we can make a post and make new friends. I do use a series of Apps but the one I will be discussing today is a game App and the name of the game app is called "Candy Crush Saga".
Candy Crush Game
Candy Crush Saga is a wonderful free-to-play tile-matching game that helps in increasing one's dopamine level by sharpening the brain with the adventure, and task giving a sense of strong satisfaction as one wins a level and progress to another level. Furthermore, Candy Crush help against depression and it helps to relax one's mind and ease stress. Candy Crush Saga is easy to play and millions of people are playing it all over the world.

Candy Crush Saga was developed and released by King on November 15, 2012, the game is more like an adventure when one has to pass one level before one can progress to another level. The level starts from 1 to 12410 which is the highest level for the game. Here I would be listing some details about Candy Crush Saga below.

What does your app do?
Candy Crush App is a puzzle game that is played by matching 3 or more candy pieces of the same color together either vertically or horizontally so that the candy match could disappear. The game is an adventure and puzzle game with the assigned task for each level and to go to the next level, the assigned task has to be done.
Example of how the game is playedThe puzzle is solved with quick thinking and smart move because each task has its moves, in which you are expected to solve the puzzle before the move lapsed, failure to solve the puzzle before the move finishes means you fail on the task and has to go back and retry the task again.
There is also a way in which one can get the puzzle solved faster without wasting many moves and it is matching 4 and 5 same candies together in a different form to generate special candy.

If two of these special candies were switched with each other, it will
give an additional effect that can be used as an advantage in solving some tasks.

Candy Crush Saga has three features, once you open the app, there are three places there which are "The Map, "The Events, and The Shop"
The Map: This is where the game starts from level one to the last level, to play the game, one has to go to the map, click on the level you are or the level you want to play, then start playing.

The Events:
This is where there is a series of treats and tasks which can give one some rewards once you can finish the task given. The task here is different from the one assigned to each level, it is aimed at giving one extra rewards such as special candies, a finger that one can use to switch candy, a Pop to smash candy, and many more.

There are many ways whereby one can win rewards in the event, some of it that involve doing some challenge while some are earn on daily. The task done to earn rewards are:
Daily Treat Machine reward: This is a reward given to all users when they open the app every day, once I open the app, the daily treat machine will come up, then I can claim the reward.

Booster Wheel: This also is a daily reward only that it would not come up by itself like a daily treat, I would have to go to the Event, click on the booster wheel, let its spin for a while then stop it to claim whatever rewards it gives.

Chocolate Box: This is one of the challenges in the event, once you open the chocolate box, it would show a box in 4 squares, 4 triangles, 4 circles, and 4 pentagons, once you can do a challenge given to one of each of the boxes, you will be given the rewards awarded to it.

Royal Candies: Royal candies is also a challenge in the event and the reward for this challenge is candy bars that can be used to buy more moves when one's move is finished when the puzzle has not yet been solved completely. The task is to play and finish 7 levels straight without losing once, once you fail a task the royal candies will opt the person out of participation, but if one can play 7 levels without losing, such player would be rewarded with the candy bars.

Fantastic Five (F5): Fantastic five is a task given to a team of 5 people and whoever wins some levels within some days and gets the highest points will be rewarded with special candies.

Challenge Friend: This is a task between just two users, and whoever finished first would be rewarded.

Daily Win: A sticker is given to everyone that could play and win 1 level everyday and the sticker is kept inside this daily win box for six days, once the 6 days are completed, they will give the user special candies as a reward.

You can see how exciting, challenging and fun the task in the Event features are, anytime I'm playing Candy Crush Saga, I do go to the event section to claim the daily rewards and join all other challenge present, whether or not I win the challenge, I do enjoy the time spent solving the puzzle and being careful not to lose.
The Shop: This is the third feature in Candy Crush Saga, the Shop is a place where candy bars and special candies are being sold. Whoever needs candy bars or special candies can go to the shop and buy them with their credit card. I have never for once bought from the shop because I'm not that desperate or addicted to the game.

How long do you use it per day?
The time that I spend on the App depends, I play the game when I'm bored, free from any work or when I'm disturbed and need to clear my mind. I can say I do spend an aggregate of 1-1:30 hours every day, though there are days that I don't open the App at all due to my busy schedule.
What could you recommend to improve this App?
I don't think I have anything to say about the improvement of the app, the app is working fine, though some people do complain the task gets too tough once the level goes to 1000 or so but I love how the tasks are arranged, the harder it gets to solve the task the more exciting it is to me.

Conclusion
Candy Crush Saga is a lovely game that so many people love playing, it helps me relax and it ease my disturbed mind because the harder the task is gives me the motivation that life can not be fair at all time and giving up is never an option for whoever that wants to excel and get the best out of life. Anytime I'm stuck in a level, I would leave it for a while and say to myself, we will go again later.
Right now I'm on level 3059 and the same thing apply to my journey in life, I don't give up because It is not going the way I want, and up till now I'm still striving hard and doing everything I can to be the best I want. This is where I will stop for the contest, thanks to everyone for reading.
