Controlling Anger

in hive-188619 •  16 days ago

Hello friends, welcome to my page!

What an interesting contest topic to handle for the week. Anger is something most of us are bound to exhibit no matter at what varying degree or level it comes. Our ability to contain this rage is what distinguishes us from each other. Let's get started...

Take a selfie simulating your angry face and show us.

Hahaha, this sounds a little amazing and weird because no one would want to keep selfies of such moments. They are moments we do not want to always remember due to their affiliation. Moods of this kind usually come with unpleasant memories and stories hence the unrequired need to keep them.

However, I will be making one of these mood pics. for the contest in question. Hope it does end up too funny.

Are you one of the people who gets angry easily?

I am a jolly good fellow and wouldn't want to always give room for sadness. No doubt, angry moments are our off-mood moments. They come with bitterness, sadness, and most of all irrational thinking.

These are things I am intentionally about to avoid. If I must get angry, I already envisage how to get my chill immediately. Getting angry is only a natural phenomenon that is inevitable to mankind.

What situations make you lose your calm and get in a bad mood?
Disrespect:

I am majorly an introvert who would always wants to avoid so many conversations and altercations with others because these are avenues to get disrespected, especially by younger ones. I try as much as possible to communicate freely to people and when I do I know they are like minds irrespective of age.

Intimidation & Maltreatment of others:

We are all humans and by right should be treated with some form of responsibility. But we see people who freely abuse others for the sake of class and status. They get them intimated and maltreated, hence this upsets me given that it could be my brother or sister somewhere.

Taken for Granted:

People treat others without value and this is a piss off for me. I wouldn't know how to go about this other than walk away to help restore my mental health. We don't need to remain in places where we are not regarded. As soon as we notice the no-value thing, we must excuse ourselves.

Others

This may come from our kids; their playful activities go wrong, friends gossip, and other negative vices and energies that don't suit our mental stability.

Tell us the last reason that made you angry.

I got angry that afternoon when I discovered one of the unpleasant adventures of my son. I had to console myself after seeing the fact that I could not do much for him but rather seek solutions to repair what was damaged.

In the sitting room, there is this landline device used for calls. It was purchased and dropped there to allow for easy communication between outdoor and indoor members of the house.

This little boy went to my room, picked up the scissors from the storage cart, went straight to where the device was kept, and now decided to cut the wire into two. The funny thing here is that nobody knew when it was done not until when it was a call came in.

We asked who did it, and he quickly owned up. I was happy he did but at the same thing, I needed to correct him well. I was angry, even with the punishment he was given, I didn't still feel satisfied.

What can I do other than look for a solution and as well walk out of his presence? This walked for me and I eventually coupled the damaged parts together.

Do you think getting angry is a bad or a negative thing?

Getting angry isn't bad since we still put flesh on ourselves. The only bad and negative thing about getting angry is the vices it reproduces through its actions when uncontrolled.

Our inability to stay calm and control our anger is what makes getting angry a bad one. When we get angry, we may find ourselves overwhelmed with rage and this may bring about overreactions which in turn result in the breakdown of law and order.

This unprecedented destruction or damage may have a dangerous or negative impact getting angry may be frowned upon.

Thank you, friends...

You have written well answering all the questions accordingly. Your angry face is scary, I hope you don't tear people into pieces when you are angry. The case of your boy is a minor one, how about a child breaking an expensive glass table. It's always a crazy situation but then killing them wouldn't solve the damages they caused . I'm happy you were able to fixed it back. Children can be annoying sometimes.

Hey, I feel like coming and slapping you hard to see what happens😁.

Hahaha, I won't even allow or give room for concerns that would bring about that 😅

No, give it a chance and see if it makes you angry.😁

It wont, still. Having known it was intentional.

😁😁😁

Bro, that’s kids for you oh… you too must have also damaged some few things when you were much younger… the only bad aspect is that our parents of those days will not only punish us, they will want to break our head as well..

Hahaha, we had tougher punishments unlike now. Just like this last experience, it was not just adding up. He used scissors to cut into two the land phone cable. It's well...they still remain kids

Happy to be reading from your entry post sir...

It's but obvious that when we don't feel respected as we should we walk away freely. I am fun of that and I won't let anyone neglect my presence or emotions.

Good luck...

Exactly the point. Thanks for the feedback 😀

You post have really drop an impact to me when reading it.

Yes if someone takes a senior person for granted is very painful..

Wishing you all the best in this contest Dad

Your writings are unique, have gone through it more than twice. And I took some point for myself. Which is Anger is something most of us are bound to exhibit no matter at what varying degree or level it comes. Our ability to contain this rage is what distinguishes us from each other. Let's just avoid being over angry to avoid doing something we will regret later.

Nicely written dear friend, indeed we are human and getting angry is a universal emotion that can be harmful or helpful. But it's better to control our anger than to allow it trigger us to harm someone or destroy something.

This face is not a face that gets angry easily but it is not also a face to messed with. Your son is lucky to have a reasonable dad, if it were my dad he would have received the bearings of his life that will make him think twice about damaging things.

That's so good to hear sir, children can be so annoying and at the same time funny, just imagine you spoiled a devices, expensive one for that matter and when asked who did it, you get up,😁 from there we can see that he doesn't know what his doing, but they devices is spoiled.

You did the right thing by punishing him and not letting the anger overthrown you, i can say you do control your anger even if you are pissed off so badly, I'll like to imitate you sir.

Have a great day 🌺
