Welcome to my first engagement participation of the week. It is my pleasure to start blogging with this interesting topic about our emotions.

If an emotion had control in the central headquarters of your mind, what emotion would it be and why?

One thing we have to know is that emotions are the central name of how we feel at different points in our lives. Be it happy or sad, angry or sobber, joyful or moody; this does not matter but is all inevitable as we continue to interact with others in our daily activities.

One emotion I would want to remove is that one thing that brings negative feelings especially that of anger. Being angry happens to everyone and it is a sign of displeasure of one's action towards us. Since we interact every day with others, they are bound to offend us hence the angry thing that pops in.

We must limit how we get angry. This would also help us have a clear and better head towards making sound decisions, and limit the dangers it exposes us to, and other negative vices that follow suit.

Do you think that as you grow up you feel less joy?

This isn't true and can only be dependent on an individual standing. We cannot say we grow less joyful as adults as no stage has a monopoly on happiness.

How we live our lives is a key determinant of how joyful we become. We have to be intentional about living. We should rather crave those things that make us happy than unhappy while growing up.

We may indeed face limitations, hardships, and economic changes sometimes, but it shouldn't be a joy reducer always for us. We have to be content with what we have and adjust to our happy zone.

Right now, what are you feeling? What is the emotion that prevails in you?

My emotions right now come with a lot of mixed feelings. The feeling of anticipation, expectation, and being hopeful as anything less than that would bring a lot of instability and lack of coordination.

I have been pursuing a post-study career path with one of my preferred country destinations for some time now. This has continued to put me under pressure and tense.

Have you ever repressed your emotions?

For sure, there are moments when we have to repress our emotions. This is an act that allows us to be in charge or control our activities. We cannot deny the fact that there are situations where we have to forcefully calm ourselves from a rage that would consume us from a fight or reaction.

It is infact advisable once in a while to repress our emotions so as to be optimally functional the way we want to. It also gives us more value when appraised by others given our sense of judgement and reactions to events.

What emotion from "Inside out" or "Intensely" in latin do you think characterizes 3 members of the Cotina Team?

I wouldn't have met the cotina team on a personal basis or have had close interaction with them but the little I have seen about them is that, they are set of people who are meek in the heart and kind, with human face in all their activities.

Being angry is natural but how your anger is being controlled is another. We can actually be in control of our emotions but sometimes we feel weak when emotions hit us hard. I don't like being angry because I loose so much during the process. I wish your post-study career would go smoothly and fast so that this missed feeling would be over. I wish you all the best!

Anger comes with strong forces. And as humans we can't do away from anger cos it will always come. However, the ability to control it, is what defines you. I hope we all will not fall prey into anger 🤬
