Assalam-o-alikum

Welcome friends to my post! I hope that you all will be fine with the amd will be enjoying your life by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my life. Today I'm very happy because I'm going to share a post which is related to my profession in SEC-S19W1 organised by Electronics Academy. The topic is "Introduction to basic electronics". So get started;

Workshop 1; Electronic Symbology

As we all now in this modern era, now everything is invented using electronics. In my introductory post I have shared that I'm an electrician by professio. When I saw this topic, I was so happy because due to this I get a chance to write about my profession. Being an electrician I have knowledge about electronics and these weekly lessons surely enhance my k knowledg.

As we all know that electronic symbology is the photographic representation of all electronics. In an electric kit there are number of circuits are used having diffraction actions which are necessary for proper functioning of a machine. For example an electronic machine known as AC, is work on the principle of alternating current. In this machine a kit is used in which diffrent circuits are used e.g: module, transformer, AC nodes and many more. By knowing these circuits we can easily get access to working of AC.

Below I have shown the electronic symbology of different circuits used in electronics.

Workshop 2; Briefly Define followings

1. Alternating Voltage:

The type of voltages which can change their direction periodically is known as alternating voltages. The alternating voltages can be found in multiple directions and thus are used for producing electricity in industries and houses.

2. Direct voltage:

The voltage which are run in one direction without changing it's direction is called direct voltage. The direct voltage can be produced from solar energy, batteries and other DC cercuits. These have constant power of producing electricity.

3. Resistance:

The the force which oppose the flow of charges within the circuit or wire is known as resistance. The resistance depends upon dimensions, length or width of the wire in which the charges are flowing. Having more resistance in circuit may slows down th flow of charges in the circuit.

4.Potentiometer:

Potentiometer is an electrical device used for potential divider between two points in the circuit. This device also used for measuring emf in the circuit. This device compare the potential difference and resistance.

5. Rectifier Diode:

Rectifier diode is a semiconductor diode which is used for changing the alternating current into direct current so thar it can flow in one direction. Thus it produce DC output power by using input AC.

6. Diode Bridge:

Diode bridge is consist of four rectifier diodes which act as bridge. Their main function is same as single rectifier diode mean changing the alternating current into direct current. But this bridge is used in large circuits.

7. Capacitor:

Capacitors are very important things used within the circuit. The capacitors store the electric energy and than release it within interval of time. They maintain the proper functioning of circuit as they stop the accesive arival of current and than releasing it normally.

8. Transistor:

Transistors are the devices which are used in the circuit for switching the alternating voltage in different electronic devices. In past transistor was used in radio, amplifiers for switching the alternating voltage within the circuit.

8. Transformer:

Transformer is an electrical device which is used for transfer of electrical energy across different alternating currents. There different types of transformers we used in out daily life like step up and step down transformer also isolated transformer. The electricity we are using in our houses is coming through these transformer.

10. Lithium Battery:

The batteries in which lithium ions are used for producing power is known as lithium batteries. These batteries are rechargeable and that's why mostly used in our circuits. This battery use anode and cathode terminals for producing electric energy.

11. Fuse:

For protecting our circuits we used fuse in it. It is the device which stops the current if there any problem in the circuit thus protect our circuits from any kind of damage caused by short circuit. Due to its this activity fuse are the integral part of our circuits.

Workshop 3; Mention the types of followings

Below are the types of all these components used in the circuit;

1. Resistors:
● Linear resistors
● Variable resistors
● Non variable resistors
● Fixed resistors

2. Capacitors:
● Tantalum capacitors
● Mica capacitors
● Ceramic capacitors
● Film capacitors
● Variable capacitors

3. Diodes:
● Photo diode
● PN junction diode
● Zener diode
● Laser diode
● Rectifier diode

4. Transistor:
● Power module transistor
● Through hole transistor
● Surgace mount transistor
● Fixed transistor

5. Coils:
● Copper coils
● Solenoid coils
● Hormone coils
● Inductures

In this modern age which is called the age of technology different new circuits are used in our electrical devices. And by the passage of time different changes have been occurred.

Workshop 4; Identification of electronic components

1st image:

In this workshop I am asked to identify some parts used in electric circuit or kit. Below I have mentioned some components used in electronics kit. I have mention connectors, transformer, resistance, IC, Diode, coil and capacitors. Below you can see;
