Indeed it's a pleasant day with its blessings, how are you doing, how is everyone, family, friends, and loved ones. I'm happy to share with you friends my little knowledge about the topic Introduction to basic electronics. But before I proceed I will love to appreciate team Electronic Academy for allowing my post to count in this community, so without any further ado let's get started.
Indeed irrespective of our course of study, basic electronics are very important for a student foundational growth. There concepts aim on enlightening student to have an experiencial knowledge of electronics appliances we use at home, workshop, office, school and many more areas of specialization. It is very necessary we get to acquire knowledge on basic electronics because it would make us resourceful and create a mindset of profounding solutions everywhere our appliances get spoiled or development any manure issues.
Sincerely, as the symbology are universal, I would be sharing with you friends the symbols stated in the class as an assignment which I can point out below;
(Zoom it in order to see each symbol clearly)
The above symbol illustrate that all the electronic components are different in functionality, in other words you can't miss placed them or modify any of these components when or while carry out any electronics work in a workshop. They are fixed according to their slots in a circuit, so if one mistakenly miss placed any corresponding components or make any mistake while carrying on work. It would bridge the circuit and it may lead to exploration and if care is not taken it may also affect the person performing a given task.
Sincerely, this is the reason why we should be very careful and acquitted with an experiencial knowledge necessary while carry-on any electronic task. Of course, a professional engineering would always emphasis on the concept of precaution and he would always advise his co-workers to always take proper precautions and proper safety while working or performing any task because he knows the implications that is behind it.
Alternating voltage
An alternating voltage is a type of electrical energy that varies both magnitude and polarity (positive and negative) with respect to time. Its voltage magnitude continually change 50 times in one second. In other words the voltage may vary in an predictable manner, irregular, no repetitive and regular manner with respect to time. The voltage is 220/240 volt, 50hz(frequency) in my country nigeria and we can found this energy through electricity from our generator or power supply electricity from Nepal.
Direct voltage
It's a type of electrical energy that aim on maintaining its polarity without being switched, it allows current to flow in one and constant direction.
Resistance
A resistance is a type of electronic components that restrict the free flow of electric current. It aim at restricting the free flow of electric current in a circuit.
Potentiometer
It's a electronic components that has three terminal that can be used as a variable resistor or voltage divider in a circuit. It's made up of a resistive element and a contract that can be moved to change its resistance.
Rectifier Diode
This is a basic electronic components that restrict and allows current to flow in only one direction in a circuit. The current flows from anode which positive to cathode the negative side and this rectifier is always at forward bias mode.
Diode bridge
It is a serie of arrangement that is made up of four rectifier diode arrange in a rhombustic manner that direct the flow of current which aim basically at converting an alternating current into direct current which refers as rectification process.
Capacitor
A capacitor is a electronic components that can stores electrical energy or electrical charges in a circuit. It is made of two conductor separated by dielectric material which are in form of plates accumulating charges. One plate is for a positive charge while the other is for a negative charge. Some capacitor are used for filteration in some circuit because they can easily store up charge and can quickly discharge as well.
Transistor
A transistor is an electronic components that is used to applify or switch electrical signal. It's a semiconductor device that has three terminal which are called emitter, base and collector.
Transformer
A transformer is a device that either step up or step down the flow of electric current or voltage. They are also use to change the voltage of electricity flowing in a circuit with the use of principle of induction.
fuse
A fuse is a device design for safety and protection. It breaks a circuit if a fault in an appliances or circuit causes excessive flow of current.
Lithium battery
These are battery that consist of lithium-ion used to generate power. They are specifically rechargeable battery used basically in personal electronic batteries such as laptop, cell phone, rechargeable touch, reading light, and other rechargeable electronic devices.

Hello dear
I read your post your entry in the basic electronics is so informative and good. First I want to say that your thumbnail is so beautiful and attractive. Your have completed all the worksheet very nicely. At the end you labeled some parts in the kit,it increases my knowledge about basic electronics.
Nice content, looking forward to your success m
