The electronic eagle's w1: Best pick of the week

Greetings friends,

Our first week of activities ended successfully. Now we are familiar with some of the electronics components and thier symbols that we would use during the course of this 6 weeks training. Isn't that interesting?

The second week is already here with measurement of those components, go and check it out!

We want to thank the students who took time to participate in the Electronic Academy first lesson and the assignment.

Highlights

• During our last week activities, we had some good responses from the students. However, we also took time to read all the entries or assignment perse.

• All assignments were checked and proper guidelines were also provided to the students. We believe this would help the student to become better in this field.

• We had a total of 18 assignment submitted by 18 students. That's impressive, isn't it?

• Unfortunately, there were not much interactions among the students, we hope this would improve in this second week.

• We noted students who were here just for votes and not the lessons. We do not need that in this training. We are rather interested in quality over quantity.

This user has done her best in answering the 4 tasks provided in the assignment. Her drawings are neat and the symbols could be seen clearly. This is one of the best reasons we choose her assignment.
Hopefully, others can see the importance of providing a neat diagram when it comes to electronics.

The student has successfully completed the theoretical assignments, he focused on the special characteristics of the components that are susceptible due to the fact that they have polarities, something that the other students overlooked. He incorporated all types of components, demonstrating that he engaged in thorough research. In the practical task he identified all the smd components correctly, even explaining the values of the resistors according to their nomenclature, that is to say that he complied with what was proposed in the lesson, not limiting himself only to what was requested.

The student demonstrated an interest in researching, analyzing and presenting a clear yet detailed theory. In terms of the substance of the topic covered in the lesson, he demonstrated understanding. In the practical part she correctly identified the components on the boards provided by the class, she was the only student who placed the correct name of the ceramic capacitor on the SMD board. This component was ignored by most of the students. She showed a card of her own to complete task 4, identifying the components studied. Despite being an electronics enthusiast, he performed the task with dedication.
