Sri Maha Bodhi

I hope you are safe and healthy. So today I thought of coming to you with a very beautiful post.

So guys, today I am talking about Sri Maha Bodhi.

So guys, today I am going to share with you beautiful memories of a beautiful place I have visited. I really believe that these beautiful memories have the ability to make our lives beautiful. So I think that if we forget our bad memories forever and save only good memories, we will be able to be happy in life.

So today I hope to share with you about another beautiful and sacred tree in Sri Lanka. So this sacred tree is known as Sri Maha Bodhi.

This tree is not just a tree, this tree is a very sacred tree. The reason for that is that it is the mother plant of this plant that gave shade to Lord Lovuthura Buddha to become a Buddha. So Buddhist devotees often come to worship this tree.

We were taught in Dhamma school that this Sri Maha Bodhi was brought from India to Lanka by a female thero named Sanghamitta.

This Sri Maha Bodhi is in Anuradhapura. A golden fence has been built around this Bodhi.

So the most famous place in Anuradhapura puja city is the ground where this Bodhi is located. We can see old devotees coming to see this place and worshiping Kirinama. Actually, I went here on a weekend, so it was full of people. So I visited the holy place during the best week. Coming one day. Then I think the crowd will be less here.

Both local and foreign tourists come to this place. I am really happy about that.

Before entering this place, it is mandatory to remove shoes and hats. Also, if you are not wearing a protective clothing, the security personnel near the entrance will give you a piece of white cloth to cover your body.

So, the Sri Lanka Army and the police have been deployed here for the protection of the devotees.

On both sides of the road leading to this place, we can see flower stalls and vela stalls selling various offerings. Similarly, there is an advanced infrastructure system in this place.

So everyone is invited to come and worship this beautiful and sacred place and get those positive blessings in your life too.
