SEC-S14W2 : Surviving in the Nature | The Island Adventurer

Hello friends, I enjoy the activities going on in here and therefore, here is my entry in the SEC-S14W2 in this great community. I do hope we all enjoy my entry.

👉 Which natural spot( desert, jungle or Isle) do you feel you'll probably survive on a best way? State reason

I have solemnly loved the Islands so early wna it has been a place I'll love to visit most likely on of these days, it is so beautiful hearing the whispers of the tides and rustling of leaves, they drum melody to me.

However, in situations where there was an insurgency and I accidentally crawl from the drowning sea into an island, then that's fate smiling a my path! I'll survive in an island more than other places mentioned above in the question, the island speaks peace and tranquility amidst challenges and hurdles but I'll definitely survive.

Importantly, my reason for saying this is that I'm a great swimmer, the tides and flows in the sea is my second home, therefore I can swim for Mike's without getting tired, I can also improvise with natural resources such as tree bark, palm fronds and a host if others to make myself comfortable to survive too.

👉 Which skill do you need to stay there without big issues while you wait to be rescued? Cooking, climbing, swimming

Firstly, hunger is a torment, therefore knowledge learnt from the olden age shows that if you strike 2 dry stones briskly you can start a fire, with that I can make fire, gather tree barks and form firewood too which is a skill I'll use which would be used to cook, provide warmth too.

Moreso, I'll cut down some barks and shape them well enough to be able to pluck fruits from tall trees and provide myself with great vitamins from the trees at little cost! During cold weather the palm fronds I'll cut down would be used to form canopy-like shelter for me too against rain and harsh sunlight.

Furthermore, I'll make apparels and clothes from twigs and leaves found in the island too when my clothes are worn out. The stalk of some trees would be used to form rope-like structure which I'll use to construct a relaxing spot with bamboos too, I'll enjoy nature there too.

Interestingly, sharp rocks would be used to carve sharp points from tree barks, which I'll use to hunt down some aquatic animals . The bark of trees would be carved into traps too, I'll make catapult, which would be used to hunt some games, I'll carve bow and arrow from nature too to hunt birds and some sea animals.

👉 Which are the essential you can't forget there and why? Mobile, diary, pet anything is valid.

After my stay in the Island when the rescue team arrives, I would try to bring samples of the crude tools constructed as a result of my survival instincts, I would also love to show the world apparels I made from twigs, leaves and so on.

I would bring home all there is to show the world that survival instincts could make you stretch yourself out to survive and make ends meet. It is not an easy drill but definitely with courage and consistency, you could survive any condition.

👉 Which are the disadvantages for being very dependent of any urban lifestyle

There are some disadvantages for being very dependent of any urban lifestyle some of which are

• Lack Of Creativity

---

Most people living in the urban world with lots of technology a their disposal and social media as ultimate distraction tend not to be creative. The urban lifestyle distracts them from being creative to making innovation and research to better our world.

• Laziness & Lousiness

---

This has made lots of homes to produce individuals who are lazy and lousy, they don't seek anything but just to stay lazy and just not think, they prefer to stay on their beds all night long without being up knowing that, the technology would come through for them, thereby relying on the urban lifestyle.

• Lack of Technical Know-How

The society provides lots if solutions to out daily need,giving us gas cooker to cook, an electric fan when we are hot and others, we don't take time to know alternative ways of getting things done asides the urban lifestyle, if we could think outside the box we would increase our technical ways and approach to life.

• Staying in Comfort Zone

---

No one cares to think, we just enjoy our comfort zone, we don't care we just want to sleep, eat and sleep again, repeating the cycle as a routine making us fall back to our urban lifestyle, if we could leave our comfort zone I guess we would seek other ways of doing things asides the urban lifestyle.

~Conclusion~
The Island adventure woukd indeed teacg alot and make us more creative and self reliant individuals who would learn to fight through to survive the world. Im orve our survival instincts and show the world the best in them.
