Weekend getaways contest :Going out to pitha festivals on holidays

How are you all I hope everyone is doing well by the grace of Allah . Alhamdulillah, by the infinite mercy of Allah, I am also very well. I am a very busy person. Besides living in a village, I don't get much chance to go outside to support my family. However, last week I visited a ❝Pitha Utsav❞, which I will try to present to you.

That day I woke up in the morning, took a walk outside our house while brushing myself after waking up. After having breakfast I left for Kumarkhali by cycling with the local boys.

After going to Kumarkhali, Bamra decided that instead of cycling, I would ride the rest of the way by bus. So we deposited our bicycles in a big bicycle garage there and waited for the bus at the bus stand. There were not many people there for a winter morning. I got to know from the ticket seller that the bus would be late, so I played games on my mobile to pass the time.

Then after a long time when a local bus arrived there, we all collected tickets for ourselves and boarded the bus. However, the bus was already full of passengers so we had to stand for no seat.

I went to pitha festival and visited every stall there. Most of the pithas that are arranged on the table in the stalls are the pithas that I know. I have eaten a lot of those pithas in my mother's hands such as: Jamai pitha, coconut puli, dudh puli, pies, kheer, semai pitha, pakan pitha etc.

However, I saw many other unique and unknown cakes that I had never seen let alone heard of in my life. First among them I want to mention the name of Paisa Pitha. In fact, the pitha looked very thin and flat. And I never imagined that any pitha called Paisa could have any nausea.

Then in another stall I saw potato pita placed on the table. I have eaten a lot of potatoes in my life and even we have a recipe of potato curry every in our house. However, it is really incredible that potatoes can have pita. After boiling a potato and spreading some masala, chili powder on it, they presented it as Aloo Pitha.

In the next stall, I saw a type of pitha called Nakshi pitha. "Nakshipitha" pitha was one of the most beautiful, tempting and attractive pithas I saw in all the stalls that day. The red and green colored leaves are made out of flour and have beautiful designs on them that can really attract anyone.

After the Pitha Utsav I went to a library there. A few days ago I thought of sharing regular drawings on Steemit. So I went to the library to buy paints. I bought a box of pencil colors, the colors look amazing and I got one free pencil for buying 12 pencils which is really a joy.
