Steemit Engagement Challenge-S14W6 | Memories of 2023

Happy New Year to everyone, I am glad to come our way with this publication. We are honored and fortunate enough to be among those who stepped into 2024 to achieve greater heights.

Sincerely, Traveling Steem community is timely as long as the steemit ecosystem is concerned and it has availed every user on the platform the opportunity to share the experience in their various journies.

We know that the steemit platform comprises people from all around the world regardless of language, race, or ethnicity hence one excellent thing about sharing our traveling experiences here is the closeness it brings us. Supposing I traveled from Nigeria to Indonesia, my followers and others who read my post who are Indonesians will know that am in their region and probably will want to identify with me.

Although I haven't taken much part in the engagement challenges presented by the community, am aware that it was during the last quarter of the year that I subscribed and began following the community. Nevertheless, the various engagement challenge topics presented by the community can be characterized as top-shelf.

Although I haven't taken much participation in the community's engagement challenges the most interesting topic presented was "Where you want to travel to if given $10k". I considered the best owing to the real-life expressions that would come from the participants. The community has also presented topics such as "the best place I have visited", "the best place I have visited", "my best travel", among many others. And these topics are realistic and educational.

All the topics the community has so far presented were well thought out, they are all about traveling which is the primary purpose of the community. Meanwhile, the topics allowed every Steemian to participate, giving their real-life experience instead of having to research what to contribute.

Since the community focuses more on travel and travel experiences, there is just one suggestion I would like to give. For instance, the environment seen in Nigeria differs from those in Canada, likewise the foods, activities, places, etc. Therefore, it would be more authentic if our traveling experiences were accompanied by photos.

Photos of places we visited, the people in our company, the activities we engaged in, the events we attended, and the food we ate. I suggest therefore, that the community should come up with content that would allow users to use more photos for their entries.

Even though every user is encouraged to advertise steemit on various social media platforms mostly Twitter, sincerely I have been lagging. I haven't put in much effort to acquaint myself with this social media platform nevertheless, for the growth of this beloved steemit, I will do my best to publicize it on social media platforms.
