I have been living in Chittagong city for the past five years. In these five years, I have visited Patenga sea beach twice. But this time, visiting Patenga sea beach was a little special for me. Because this time I went to visit Patenga sea beach with my younger sister, my elder sister's son and my elder son. On January 31, we all visited Patenga sea beach. Patenga sea beach is a popular tourist destination in Chittagong. This sea beach is located at the mouth of the Karnaphuli River and its located 14 kilometers south of Chattogram.
The width of Patenga Sea Beach is not too long, so swimming here is less risky. To prevent beach erosion, concrete walls and large boulders have been placed along the beach. Currently, tourists sit on these rocks and do their own photo sessions. Which has made the trip to Sea Beach more enjoyable for tourists. It was much more enjoyable to sit on the large boulders and watch the waves of the sea from up close.We were all sitting on this big rock. My son started kicking the rock instead of sitting, so we all got up.
The day we went to Patenga Sea Beach. It was a holiday. So there were a lot of tourists. At Patenga Sea Beach, you can travel in the sea by speed boat and there are also easy bikes and horses to travel on the seashore. Each tourist was enjoying the beach in their own way. Some were traveling in the sea by speed boat. Some were traveling on the seashore by easy bike and horse. Some were enjoying the beach on foot. My son wanted to ride the horse but I was scared so I did not let my son ride the horse. My son walked a long way in the sea water. Although I was very scared seeing my son walking in the sea like this.We all enjoy walking to the beach.

A variety of inexpensive foods are available at Patenga beach. Vendors from the city sell ice cream and soft drinks to tourists who come here. My son saw an ice cream vendor and asked for ice cream. Then I bought ice cream for my son. Later, we all bought ice cream together and ate it. Eating ice cream sitting on the beach was a different experience. After eating ice cream, we walked a little further along the beach. Of course, I have not been to the sea, I am afraid to go to the sea. But I like to watch the waves of the sea from a distance.When we saw a guava vendor, we all stopped and bought guava stuffed with it from the vendor and enjoyed eating it together.
One of the main attractions of this Beach, located in the port city of Chittagong, is the "Patenga Burmese Market". This Burmese Market is a favorite place for shopping for tourists visiting Patenga Sea Beach. We all visited it, although I did not buy anything from the market. As soon as I entered the Burmese Market, I saw various cosmetics made from snails and oysters arranged in shops. Another popular food was Burmese pickles arranged in various shops.We bought some pickles.
