TS-Diary Game | 19 April, 2024 | A few moments to enjoy the hilly terrain of a day trip.

A day tour was planned this week with my friends on the occasion of Eid holidays. Everyone was a bit confused in selecting the place because it would be very difficult to travel without a peaceful environment during the heat of summer, so we all decided to travel to Rangamati, one of the best natural beauty spots in Chittagong Hill Tracts.

It is about 80 kms away from us and being a hilly area it would be very challenging to travel by local transportation so I had hired a private car the day before for the entire trip. Exactly at 6 o'clock in the morning we all met at the same place and left for the trip.

I had heard the praises of Rangamati's beauty from many tourists visiting here so I was looking forward to exploring this place much earlier. As we all left our houses very early in the morning without eating anything as per the plan, so we had breakfast from a restaurant in the middle of the journey.

All along the way I enjoyed the beauty of hilly area. After almost a long journey we finally entered the main travel spot. Although our intention was to go to the park, on the way there we saw a beautiful lake where we stopped the car and spent some time.

Then we entered one of the most popular parks called Polwel Park. I have captured several views of the park which I will share in my next travel blog. There was a swimming pool in the park which was not very big in size but it was a good space to enjoy.

Everyone had to purchase a separate ticket for the swimming pool except me. Although I know how to swim, I don't find bathing in a swimming pool very interesting, so I didn't go there, but I worked as a photographer for my friends.

While they were in the swimming pool I ordered a lacchi for myself. A cold drink is very pleasant on a hot day. The lacchi was delicious, I ate it while enjoying the surrounding lake. I paid 100 rupees for the drink which is equivalent to 3.34 Steem and approximately 0.91 USD.

However, after staying at the park till around 11 am, we left the place and headed towards another travel spot. Our next spot was a completely remote mountainous area. After climbing the hill, I found a market there.

This area is inhabited by small tribes who grow various fruits in the hills. But the largest seller in the entire market was pineapple as it is now in season. We friends shared two pineapples which tasted amazing. I bought 8 pieces of pineapple for my family. The price per piece was 30 taka which was very affordable. I spent 240 Bdt approximately 2.42 USD for pineapple.

As it was a Friday, we performed the Jumu'ah prayer there and had our lunch inside the tourist center. Then from there we left for Kaptai where the last part of the day can be spent watching the most beautiful sunset. At the end of the day the spectacular sunset at such a location made the whole trip worthwhile.

Some scenes were so extraordinary that one can never appreciate its beauty without seeing it. The entire area was controlled by the army so we had to leave the place .

Then after traveling for another 2 hours I finally returned to my house and refreshed myself and offered my remaining prayers. My entire day was very enjoyable.
