TS - Diary | 13 August, 2024 | Enjoy visiting a noisy area at night.

Although our local grocery stores have the daily necessities, but many other items demand by customers are not available. Therefore, we have to go to the big market in Bhatiari. I needed some grocery items that weren't available in our local stores, and I had also noticed that my beard had grown long and needed a trim.

After finishing all my daily tasks, I left for Bhatiari in the evening. This location is a bit far from my house, but I can easily reach it within 5-10 minutes using public transportation. Then, I went to a familiar barber shop to get my beard trimmed.

There are barber shops in our area too, but they are not as good and I often find them to be unhygienic. So, I come here for my personal grooming or to get my hair and beard trimmed. They charge a bit extra for each cut here, but they maintain complete hygiene, which I like.

I had to wait for a few minutes to get my beard trimmed as there were some customers before me. I only had my beard trimmed. I don't cut my hair at night, so I planned to cut it another day. I paid 100 taka for the barber's service, which is equivalent to 5.5 STEEM.

Then I headed towards the grocery market, which was a 5-minute walk from the barber shop. I buy most of my grocery items from here, as everything is available at wholesale prices, which is not available in our area. Moreover, there are many other essential items that are not available in our area's grocery stores, so most people buy from here.

I usually use Dove soap for my daily use, which suits my body. I have used other soaps that haven't suited my skin. Although Dove is not our country product, it is imported from outside, so it is also a bit expensive. The price of this 25 gram soap was 90 taka, which is equivalent to 5 STEEM.

After buying the grocery items, I walked along the roadside for a while. These areas get quite crowded at night. There is a higher population of temporary residents here, and being a market area, it looks very lively at night. Since I had to go home, I stood by the roadside for transportation. I tried to take some photographs of the noisy night environment, but most of the pictures were blurry.

Sometimes, it feels good to visit these noisy areas at night. The coming and going of people from various professions, the hustle and bustle around street food, the attractive street lighting, and beauty all combined create a quite wonderful sight. It's a enjoyable visit for me .
