Today is my weekend day. I decided to travel today to enjoy this holiday and get to know the historical culture of Bangladesh. Today I will be accompanied by respected senior steamian @mahadisalim and budding steamian @sojib1996.
We meet at Pagla in Narayanganj at 9 am. We start our journey by having breakfast and tea together before our journey.

Pabam city is a historical archaeological site of Bangladesh. This city was founded around 1300 AD. It is a very well-organized city.
When Sonargaon was the capital of Bangladesh, this city was inhabited by people of the financial class, what we call VIP persons. Panam city is made up of a total of 51 small and big buildings. In each building, a combination of Mughal, Sultan and European buildings is prepared.

Even after so many years. We can see the traces of that art. Now this ancient city is being preserved under the Department of Archeology. Thousands of people visit here every day. Domestic travel luxuries come here as well as foreign tourists. I also exchanged views with a tourist from Sweden. Archaeologists are very happy to see such a beautiful city.

We toured the city and left here at 2.30 pm. We had lunch at a local restaurant.

There are several shops near Panam Nagar for travelers. In every shop we saw a collection of beautiful handicrafts.

After completing the trip here, we left for the former capital of Bangladesh, Sonargaon. The city of Sonargaon has a historical place in history for many reasons. The world-famous muslin cloth was born in this city. There is also a myth about this muslin cloth that a muslin saree could be taken through a hand ring, or a saree could be folded in a match box.

Today I did not see that historical muslin saree, but many people found peace after seeing the place. Sonargaon was also very famous for idle trade. This is why the city of Narayanganj is called the Dandy of the East. If you want to take the name of Sonargaon of Narayanganj city, you have to mention the name of Isa Kha. He is One of the twelve Bhuiyan.

Today, that royal power is no more. Some memories remain. We continue to observe those memories one by one. Special mention must be made of the great chief Sarder. This grand chieftain's house is ‘s palace .Thats place was beautifully crafted. There is a huge pond in front of the chieftain's house. The water of the pond is clear and wobbly. When the reflection of Sardar's house falls in the pond, it incarnates infinite beauty.

We wandered around and entered the Folk Arts and Crafts Museum of Sonargaon. There are many historical items in this museum.
After visiting the wonderful museum, we left to see the Padma Pond. this is a travel destination that cannot be over looked.

There are picnic spots, mini parks, scenic ponds. There are various birds and flowers blooming in the ponds. There are many handicraft shops selling a variety of items.

Every place is beautifully decorated. An ideal place for luxury travelers like me.
When we got tired of seeing the architecture continuously till 5 o'clock in the afternoon, we left for home again. I reached home at 8 o'clock in the night.
This is how I travel to the traditional and archeological Panam City and Sonargaon town famous for muslin cloth.
