Assalamu Alaikum everyone. After much anticipation, I am leaving tonight for my long-awaited journey. Although planning the trip twice before, the trip had to be canceled due to the bad political environment in Bangladesh. But this time I didn't have to face any more problems. So by Allah's grace this time I left for my destination Cox's Bazar to complete my trip.
I booked the ticket from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar a week before. On 05/12/2024, the bus will depart for Cox's Bazar at 11.05 PM. I took leave from office on 05/12/2024 and packed my bags in the night. Then I left the house at 10.30 pm to go to the bus stand. Arambagh bus stand is 5 minutes distance from my house. As usual, I reached the bus counter well before the scheduled time.
I went to the counter and saw many brave passengers. I purchased a bus ticket for the Green Line Transport. Which is a very popular mode of transportation in Bangladesh. The bus was supposed to leave at 11.05 pm but I had to wait for quite some time. I waited at the counter for a long time. The bus arrived about 40 minutes after the scheduled time.
Then I took my seat. There was a lot of excitement in my mind because today I am going to complete the trip that I had planned 6 months ago. However, there was some fear in my mind that since it was late at night, I think that it might be late in reaching Cox's Bazar. In the name of God, I started the journey.
The bus reached Chouddagram, Comilla at 3.30 PM after a long journey. The bus stops twice for the passengers en route. This was the first journey break. The supervisor of our bus said that there will be a 20 minute halt here. The name of the hotel at which the bus stops is Green View Hotel. After packing the bus, I got down from the bus. I went to the wash room first.
Many bus passengers are taking a break here. All the long distance buses that are there come here. So there was a lot of pressure on the passengers. Also, the holiday starts from today, the last day of the week, so the number of tourists is high.
I freshened up from the washroom and headed towards the food counter. Then I ordered a sandwich. After some time the waiter came and gave the sandwich. The taste of the sandwich was average. Anyway, our break time is almost at the end. The bill for the sandwich came to 180/- Bangladeshi Taka with a steam price of 6.42. After paying at the bill counter I headed towards our bus.
Then our bus started again. It was around 4 o'clock in the night. I slept for a while on this journey. Because there was nothing visible outside. Our bus was traveling very fast. Then after a while after waking up I saw that it was morning. Our bus has entered Chittagong division. It was around 5:30 in the morning. Our bus supervisor announced the second journey break and said that there will be another 20 minutes break on the journey.
I got down from the bus and saw a beautiful sweet morning. The sun is just rising over the western horizon. In the mood of winter, the cold air of the sweet morning touches the heart. It can be said that there is not much winter in Dhaka. But the outer sections of Dhaka are being observed quite cold. Anyway I got off the bus and headed towards the restaurant. It is located inside Chittagong. The name of this restaurant is 4 seasons. Very beautiful and well decorated.
I entered the restaurant and freshened up in the morning. Then I ordered a coffee. After ordering coffee, I was looking at the decorations inside the restaurant. All the passengers in our bus, including me, were having their breakfast during this brief break. Inside the restaurant there was an artificial century tree which looked very beautiful.
Then a staff of the restaurant came and gave me a coffee. I was sitting at the table drinking coffee and watching the surroundings. Then I thought that I would reach Cox's Bazar in maybe two hours. But due to the late departure of the bus, we are getting late to reach Cox's Bazar. Otherwise, we would have arrived much earlier.
After our 20 minute second journey break the bus supervisor asked us to board the bus. I finished drinking my coffee and headed towards the bus. The bus started moving again. After that I did not sleep. Because now I have only two hours of travel left. I will sit by the window and enjoy the beautiful view of the hilly area. On the other side of the road I saw many mountains. To be honest, I am more attracted to the mountains than the sea.
During this journey I recorded a video for my YouTube channel. Which I will upload later on my YouTube channel. By that time, our bus had reached Cox's Bazar district. I enjoyed the mountains around the road. There were many small hills on the journey. In other words, Cox's Bazar district was surrounded by mountains, which looked like heaven.
Our bus reached Cox's Bazar city to enjoy the beautiful environment on the way. It was still quite foggy but the sun was out. Anyway, our bus reached the Green Line counter, Cox's Bazar, its final destination. So the supervisor of the bus told us that the bus journey has been completed so far. So the passengers are invited to take care of their luggage.
I gave the bus helper my bag token and collected my two pieces of luggage. As I had booked the hotel in advance, I left for the hotel without delay. Booked my hotel near Sugandha Beach. I hired a CSG from the bus counter and reached my hotel near Sugandha Beach, Cox's Bazar.
When I arrived at the hotel, I checked in. It was around 10 o'clock in the morning. The hotel receptionist will show me the key to my room. I did not have to make any payment during hotel check-in. Because I have already paid Bangladeshi Taka 5000/- (Steem Price 166.67) in advance. Now that the season time is going on so the room rent per night is 5000/- Bangladeshi taka.
Then I entered the room. After a 10-hour journey from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar, I was feeling a little relieved after entering the hotel room. I liked the hotel room very much. As seen on the hotel's website. Then I went to the balcony of my room. Going up to the balcony I was amazed by the view. Really great view. Although I had told the hotel to give me a sea view while booking. If the sea is in front, it is not clearly visible in the photo. Anyway here are the details of my journey from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar. I will be staying here for two days. Hopefully I will share with you the more interesting part of my two-day trip. Until then stay with me.
