Our travel destination was to visit the Jamuna river located a few villages away and a huge bridge built on the banks of the Jamuna river. So that afternoon I prepared to go there with my family members to visit the Jamuna River Bridge. I along with other members of my family were getting ready to go to the bridge built on the banks of river Jamuna. After getting ready we hired an auto rickshaw after 4pm and left for a special place on the river Jamuna. Although Jamuna river is located next to our house which takes only 2 minutes to walk. Still we started our journey that day leaving home to visit a special place on river Jamuna.

Our village is full of natural beauty and the road from which we started our journey to the special place of Jamuna river is a wide road inside our village. As we started our journey I continued to enjoy the natural beauty of our village while in the auto rickshaw. Basically I'm enjoying the views from both sides of the road where I can see the sun dip in the western sky. Although our journey time was a bit late we saw the sun setting in the western sky on the way. But during the journey I saw a small beautiful mosque on the side of the road and then I took a photograph of that mosque.

One important thing about my relationship with the village is that I was born in Dhaka and I grew up from Dhaka so I visit the countryside once a year for five to seven days. Because my parents along with my uncle and aunt live in the village. Although sometimes my parents come to visit me at my house because the streets of our village are unfamiliar to me. I visit my village like visiting a new place so when I visit my village I like to explore around the village.

So I was enjoying the beauty of the village as our auto rickshaw started its journey. I was enjoying our auto rickshaw going to our destination through bridges built over small tributaries of Jamuna and even canals.

We will reach our destination after 40 minutes as it is a bit far from our village for which we were sightseeing on the way. The fruit trees along the village roads looked quite beautiful and the orange sun peeked through the gaps in the trees every now and then which was a really nice sight. I spent most of my journey doing various road side photography as the road side scenery was a sight to behold. Moreover, the sweet light of the sun was shining all around. Moreover, we were moving ahead at a certain speed because the road was not crowded with cars on our journey.

Looking at the pitched roads of our village, it looks like a road running over the urban area. But in modern Bangladesh I enjoy traveling on the roads of our village because the roads here are quite good. Although when we say village roads we mean broken, muddy etc. but our village roads are really good where it is possible to get a good traveling experience on the journey. So I do some road photography towards the end of our journey.

After 40 minutes or more we reached our destination. It is the bank of river Jamuna where one can see the huge bridge built on the bank of river Jamuna. Various vehicles including buses, trucks and trains move through the bridge. Then we went to the other side of river Jamuna and saw the bridge directly. Then we spent our afternoon on the banks of river Jamuna where the fresh air was good for both mind and body.

Although the Jamuna river is constantly having different vegetation because tourists from different places come here to spend the afternoon and evening time on the banks of the river. Moreover, the cool breeze blowing from the vast Jamuna river will make anyone feel good. Then we buy some light food from the river bank and then eat them. We continued to enjoy the beauty of the river bank while having a light meal and by then it was dusk. Although we left home very late, we all enjoyed the time we stayed by the river Jamuna.

As we reached the bank of river Jamuna sometime before evening but still we were able to enjoy the view of the vast river Jamuna. Although it was getting a bit dark all around by then as the sun had completely sunk into the western sky. Then I was mesmerized by the beautiful view of river Jamuna and took some photographs of river Jamuna in my mobile for memory. While doing photography I see many small and big ships floating in river Jamuna. There are a few vessels that regularly catch fish from the Jamuna river. I have some ships that carry goods from one place to another. Although the place looks ordinary but in the afternoon one can actually understand how special this place is.

At the beginning of the evening we stood by the river and discussed about having dinner at night. We decide that we will have dinner at an outside restaurant. After planning, we again stayed on the river bank and continued photography. We then decided to stay a bit longer by the river as we had planned to have dinner outside. Anyway, standing on the bank of the river, we continued to take pictures on our mobiles like everyone else and wandered around the river bank.

Standing on the bank of the river, I noticed a thing that the water of the river hit the river bank due to the impact of the ship floating in the river, so that the water hit the river bank. To tell the truth, I like the river waves so much that I recorded a video of the river water waves on my mobile camera. Me along with my other family members also liked this wave of river water and they also recorded the video of this wave in their mobile.

In no time dusk falls and we see the lights atop the Jamuna bridge over the Jamuna river. Then we spent some more time by the river and took some pictures there in the dark of the evening. Most of the time we took the natural pictures of the river bank with our mobile cameras. Seeing the beauty of the river bank, we get busy taking pictures of the river bank scenes instead of taking pictures of ourselves. After evening we are ready to return and we decided to go for dinner at a restaurant in our village market.

We reached Bhuyapur upazila market in Tangail district by our hired auto rickshaw. After reaching the market, we entered a famous restaurant called Kutumbari for dinner. The ambience inside the restaurant was good and I have had dinner from this restaurant before so I brought my other family members here today. Anyway after reaching the restaurant we order our favorite dishes and eat the favorite dishes.

Originally we wanted to have light food for dinner but later our liquor changed and we decided to have grilled chicken with naan bread for dinner. Then after we order our food 15 minutes later our food comes to the table and then we eat the food. To be honest the food there is quite good and the quality of food in other countries of my family was also quite good. After the meal we drink Sprite as a cold drink and then after some rest we pay the restaurant bill and go out. I used a quarter of a whole chicken per person. Accordingly, after 6 of us had 6 naans and grilled chicken with cold drinks, the food bill came to 1110 BDT or 61.66 Steem.

After dinner we checked out of the hotel and then before reaching home we decided to have tea at a tea shop in this market. As per our decision we all drink tea together from a tea shop. Here price per cup of tea was 10 BDT or 0.55 BDT

After drinking tea, we stayed at the market for a while and got into the autorickshaw to return home and left for home. Thus we had a wonderful travel experience from afternoon till night and the day was enjoyed by all of us very much. We were mesmerized by the open air and natural beauty of nature.
