Spread the Joy: Gift Exchange Contest for Christmas and New Year!

Hello my steemian friends,

This is a very beautiful idea in which we will give a gift to our special friend and ask them for the expenses and motivate him to write a post. It is as if we have paid him an advance amount for writing the post. Also, he will get votes and prizes separately from the community management.

I am facing only one problem while participating in this, that now I have very dear and close friends on this platform, now choosing one of them is going to be a very difficult task, because if I choose one and the other comes to know, then he may get angry with me for the fact that I may not have considered him as my close friend.

I want to tell you about a small incident that how a joke happened with me in the matter of gift. Some of the officers of the hospital decided that we will celebrate our birthdays in our hospital and give gifts to each other. In this way, almost every month one or two birthday celebrations started taking place.

In these celebrations, it was decided to give contributions for gifts , the expenses of the party will be borne by the birthday person. When it was decided I was not there.

Because My birthday falls on 25 December, i.e. at the end of the year. In this context, I would also like to tell you that no one ever came to me to take this donation because I was the administrative officer there, so they would have hesitated in taking money from me. But at the end of the year, when I wanted to celebrate my own birthday, two of my junior female officers came to me shyly and said, Sir, today we have to celebrate your birthday.

I said, okay, celebrate it, I will come on time, whereas they had come to take money from me to spend on the party. But I could not understand this, she kept saying repeatedly, Sir, today we have to celebrate your own birthday.

Even then I did not understand, then one of them said, hey, this is your birthday today so party is being organized by you, give us the money quickly, we have to make the arrangements. I felt very embarrassed and I immediately gave them the money. Later, everyone made fun of me in the function because of this.

But now keeping in mind the condition of this competition, I have to take this risk, and after thinking very carefully, I choose one of my special well-wisher friends and my great guide, I have full hope that he will accept my gift wholeheartedly and will tell me how he spent my gift, and will also present his article on this topic in this community. As you said return gift, I don't think it is right to expect such a thing, because in my opinion expecting return gift comes under the category of greed. Anyway, there is a popular saying in our country that "one hand should not know what the other hand has given to whom"
