Greetings to amazing members of this community. I am so excited to participate in this wonderful contest. I want to wish every participant best of luck in this contest. Read along as I make my entry.

Where is your travel destination in 2024? Tell us about it and why you put it at the top of your destinations.

My travel destination for the year 2024 is the United States of America, Chicago to be precise. Chicago is located at the mouth of the Chicago River, near the southern tip of lake Michigan in North Eastern Illinois. Illinois is a state in the United States of America. Chicago is the largest city in Illinois and the third largest in the United States of America. The following are the reasons why I put it at the top of my destination :

1. Environment: the environment is good and safe to live. The weather condition is also friendly.

2. Educational system: the educational system there is so so good. It cannot be over emphasized. One my lecturers studied at the Chicago State University, Illinois USA. Even the current president of Nigeria also studied there. From what I heard and have seen online they have one of the best educational system.
   Others include food, and rich cultural event. I use to talk about Chicago so much that I was normally called Mayor of Chicago in my secondary school.

What kind of travel experiences are you planning there?

The travel experience that I'm planning is not only for pleasure but also educative. Also the experience I want to have there is that of learning in their higher institution. So as to develop my skills more better and efficiently. I will also love to go to their beach, go to many fun places cos it is also part of learning.

Are you planning the trip solo or will you have a travel companion?

I have other people who would join me aside from my self. My course mate are also interested in going there if opportunity comes to study and travel to Chicago. Going by solo is not always fun as it is boring and also it is not that safe to Solo.

If you could take any steemian as a travel companion who would it be?

If I could take a companion who is a steemian I will definitely go with @jeph001. He is so dedicated and hardworking. It will be a very good opportunity to learn more about ICT softwares and program. This could be an opportunity to let him develop his skills.

Share your estimated steem value of what your trip would cost to complete.

From Nigeria to Chicago it will cost about 6,000 steem for us to complete the journey. Since we are going to study we might not come back as some of us like me will not want to come back to Nigeria. Maybe after getting a well paid job and establish myself I can just come for visiting only. But if is go and come back then the price will be 12,000 steem.
