SEC-S14W6 | Your Thoughts About Traveling Steem

Hey Steemian friends!

So, here we are, wrapping up Season 14, and it's time for me to share my thoughts about the Traveling Steem Community. Usually, I jump into TS community contests headfirst, but this time, I find myself at the last minute because it's a fine way to end the season.

👉 What do you think about the experience in blogging into the travel community during the SEC event on season N° 14? Did you like all the topics, why?

Well, this season has been a wonderful season for me personally. I was able to participate in many contests. For the TS community, I participated in five contests (with this one) and intentionally skipped the third week's topic, "What I bring for travel?" Why, you ask? Simple, I'm not one to blabber on just for the sake of it. If I don't have something worthwhile to share, I'd rather keep my keyboard quiet.

Now, let's talk about all the other weekly topics. Did I like them? Absolutely. Each contest had me engaged and genuinely enjoying the process of sharing my travel escapades with fellow Steemians. Reminding those memories makes me want to travel more and enjoy life this year as well.

👉 Which specific dynamics and activities would you like to find in the TS group? Might be more about photography, food or engaging outside of the chain.

Travel is subjective. What I find thrilling, you might find dull and boring. So, when it comes to Traveling Steem, I believe in letting the community members spread their wings and find their ways here every time with their travel experience. Photography, food, leisure or any other aspect of travel, it had to be a fair game for all the members. Give them the freedom to share whatever floats their boat.

Imagine if TS can become a treasure trove of honest opinions and experiences, complete with stunning photos. We could be the go to spot for anyone planning a trip, not just Steemians but the whole wide world!. Think TripAdvisor, Booking.com or Google Reviews, how big are these sites and how many travelers daily find answers to key travel related questions. The key to such traffic is the right keywords and content that speak to the wanderlust in everyone.

👉 Where will you be willing to promote and engage about Traveling Steem: Discord, X, Facebook or Instagram? Maybe many other social platforms that are available.

I'm not a person who spills every day in my life story on Facebook or Instagram, I rarely visit them. X is my go to SM platform right now but it is completely for crypto stuff and news. Honestly, those platforms might not be the best places to attract Steemit traffic. Why? Because everyone scrolling through those feeds is on a mission, a mission that doesn't involve reading our heartfelt travel tales. They just want to see a quick update about it, not the external link which will take them away from the site they are glued to.

However, this case might be different if we are some kind of influencers to them. Then we have a chance to create some noise. People follow influencers for a reason and that is they trust them. So, maybe, just maybe, our Steemit links might catch their eye. Otherwise, it might be a bit like shouting into the void.

These are just my thoughts and I know you might have completely different perspectives on the same questions. Overall, this is a community with the potential to do so much. So I hope TS will get a chance to host next week’s challenge. Thank you for this contest @travelingsteem.
