After uniting the six states
Qin Shi Huang didn't just stop at uniting the land. He ordered the construction of a magnificent tomb to showcase his immortal achievements. This tomb, the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, and its Terracotta Army, is what we know today as the world's largest underground military museum.

So, dear listeners
When you're curious about ancient Chinese history and want to feel the grandeur of those times, pack your bags and head to Xi'an. There, you'll converse with history and mingle with culture, embarking on a journey through time.
Qin Shi Huang was no ordinary monarch
He had extraordinary vision and determination. He knew that to end the endless wars, he had to unite the six states. And so, he began his grand mission of unification.
First, he enlisted the help of two strategists, Li Si and Wei Liao
These wise men crafted strategies for Qin Shi Huang, setting a grand goal of "annihilating the warlords, establishing an empire, and unifying the realm under one rule." They proposed the tactic of "not sparing wealth to bribe the nobles and disrupt their schemes," to internally dismantle enemy states.
There's a little story that's been passed down among the people
During the unification of the six states, Qin Shi Huang dreamed of a giant dragon who told him, "You shall unify the world and become the ruler for all time." Upon waking, he was even more resolute in his mission of unification.
Qin Shi Huang's army was unstoppable
They conquered the weak state of Han first, then Zhao, Wei, and the mighty Chu, before finally taking down Yan and Qi. With each conquest, Qin Shi Huang integrated the culture and systems of the defeated states into Qin, enriching its civilization.
During the unification, Qin Shi Huang did something huge
He standardized measurements, currency, and script. This made communication between different regions easier and laid a solid foundation for future unifications.
Speaking of standardized script, there's this catchy phrase, "Write with one script, ride on one track"
It means, no matter where you go, you can read the writing, and no matter where you go, your cart wheels will fit the tracks. This not only made life easier for the people but also strengthened central control over the regions.
Qin Shi Huang's unification was more than just a military victory
It was a fusion of culture and systems. His unification ended the long period of division in Chinese history and established the first unified, centralized feudal empire.
Wrap-up
So, dear listeners, that's the story behind Qin Shi Huang's unification of the six states, a legend of power, wisdom, and courage. This tale reminds us that only unity brings peace, and only peace brings prosperity.
