It's very funny at times to see the activities of some taxi drivers from this part of the world I came from. Today I had to make a very short travel to get some stuffs and also check on a friend on my way I had to trek some distance as the state government just commissioned a newly constructed flyover. This junction used to be blocked it wasn't surprising if someone tells he/she spends three to four hours just to cross the junction kudos to the governor who has taken the bull by its horns to tackle the cases od traffic in the state.
It's on this note that I wish to call your attention on some funny habits displayed by some taxi drivers and their #conductors. Let me try to explain the term conductor as used in the article. A conductor is one who loads and off load people and goods he also collects the money from passengers as the driver will mind the steering.
Its also the duty of the conductor to scramble for passengers as there are many buses at the park. It's at this juncture that the drivers and their conductors display the funny habits I want to share with us . I not to bore us.
First, a taxi or bus driver is a public transport driver who conveys people and goods from one place to another. Their service(s) is/are so essential to our daily live since they render a basic need. Their service differs depending on your location and the kind of goods you carry but in all they are very important set of people.
Some funny attributes of taxi drivers

1. Some of these drivers will be up as early as 4:00 AM to start their work for the day .. no bathing no brushing of the teeth the odour from their body can actually make a pregnant woman to throw up.
2. They won't wash their cars or buses and guess what.. the neatly dressed passengers will certainly do the washing using their buttocks while seating and re-adjusting for other passengers.
3. Form the momemt they start up their work till they close of the working hours it's from one rendering of abuses to the other. No courtesy . You keep hearing things like thunder fire your head, it's your generation that's a fool , you won't see good in your life , inter alia.
4. Fight is the summary of their funny habits.

It was a funny encounter today. The driver wanted the passenger to board his own taxi but the guy wasn't ready to go yet the next thing I heard was your are very foolish you're not going so what are you doing doing here?. Isn't that far way very funny. To examine the situation. Does ut mean that someone can not wait at the park for a while? Perhaps your comment will answer that.
Another thing about the drivers of today is that they no longer look for change if you must board their taxi or bus you must have your change . What happens to individuals who just made a withdrawal from the ATM or POS stands which pays in the domination of one thousand and five hundred respectively.
I have been a victim of this case . I got to the park I had a thousand naira and my transport fare was one hundred and fifty did you know I spent an hour 35 minutes because I hadn't change on me. Who do I blane myself, the transporters or the ATM machine that paid me in higher denomination.
Aside the above mentioned there's yet another heartbreaking habit of the drivers. You have been loaded at the park fine heading to your destination the sighting a traffic he makes a U-turn telling you his not going again this is demeaning. It happens every day on our roads this they do and get away with it perhaps because passengers are made to pay at the park before you embark on your journey. The worse are people who carry loads and children these drivers don't care if the passengers have extra cash to complete their movement. Even when you make report to the union no action is taken.
Do I have to talk about the set of drivers who deceive passengers with fake seated passengers on board . These fake passengers will comfortably seat and the contractor and the drivers will be shouting one chance as soon as you board and pay one of the fake passengers will disembark and they start looking for yet another one chance before you recognize the game you have wasted ample time.
Furthermore, I will advice that if you fall victim of this case don't try to fight because the guys have no shame no reputation no dignity and also if you try to show strength they will gang up and beat you up. I rather advice that you take a lift from the case of the Greecò-roman hellenisation . Don't use force on who feels he has bigger force use mental force so that your story becomes the case of the "captive holding the captor captive "
