I don't believe in getting something for nothing, while growing up my parents taught me the importance of hard work, coupled with good qualities like honesty, humility and respect, so I've learned that hard work pays but most importantly trusting in Almighty God for his blessings, favour and riches.
I've not had streaks of luck before, because I don't believe in them, I don't used to play lottery or gamble. But I believe in God's blessings, he used to favour me on many occasions and that is because I gave him something to bless, yes God loves and blesses those who are hardworking and not the lazy ones.
For example I'm favoured just recently, the Steemit team appointed me and 29 other dedicated Steemians to represent this great platform, and I will say am fortunate to be chosen, but this appointment was not based on gambling, the Steemit team based their decision on each user's activities on the platform, they've set their requirements and only chooses the best, yes those who proves themselves worthy. So in this case I gave God something to bless by Being hardworking, and boom he showed me favor in the eyes of the team. But had it been I was lazy and inactive, there's no way this would've happened.

I believe that whatever I've achieved in this life is due to hard work. For example, I came out as one of the best students from my department, I can't attribute this to some sort of luck but hard work and God's favour, because I used to study day and night and then God gave me a retentive memory to always recalled what I read, yes he blessed my efforts.
Again when I was working in the bank, I can't recall when I paid for my lunches and this is because my customers used to, and every week I will be going home with nothing less than 5 thousand Naira Yes my customers used to dash me, and this was because I was always nice, respectful and humble, I wasn't saucy but then I worked smart. It was these beautiful qualities that helped me to win their favours, yes actions and not luck!

This term just supports my assertions that to be successful in life we must act. Action here entails hard work, it encourages pushing beyond the limits of what we think we can do and taking calculative risks and then we will be successful. Courageous ones are often the most successful so we should always act boldly and take risks but most importantly trust in God to bless our efforts and then we will reap a large reward.
We shouldn't fold our hands sitting down and believe in some sort of luck, rather we should try out new things, giving the Almighty God something to bless!

As I said before I don't believe in good luck neither on bad ones. Rather I believe in hardworking and trusting in God to bless my efforts and show me favor in his eyes and the eyes of men. He's been faithful to me and my blessings are countless, thank you for reading me!
