Best Photos With Mom

Good day all. It has been a timely contest that the steemphotos organize with our Philippine Moderator @kyrie1234. We just celebrated Mother's Day last Sunday, May 8,2022 and I do have stock photos with my mother.

Actually, I don't have much photos in my gallery with my mother. We seldom have photos together except for Mother's Day. But my mother, always have fun of taking stolen shots and she likes to do selfies in her own phone. But today, I would like to show you some photos I have in my phone gallery.

The cover picture is our recent mother's day picture together wherein for the first time I bought a mini cake for her. I choose this photo as my best photo in my gallery.

Why I choose this as my Best Photo with Mom?

Since I got a job, I always buy her a big cake every mother's day, but this time, I bought her a mini cake. I just notice that she laugh when she saw the mini cake and even laugh more when I took a picture of her holding the cake. Then I realized, she never expected a mini cake on this day and was surprised of this idea. Honestly, I bought a mini cake because our budget was allocated to my brother's training expenses and I just tried my best to make this day special to her. My mother is always grateful in anything she received, that is why she understood our situation this time since we have many expenses and bills. We just eat lunch outside together to celebrate mother's day. This is my best photo together because this is the time that we don't have enough money but still we have the chance to eat outside with this mini cake just to celebrate mother's day.

Cake is sometimes a symbol of a celebration. I do not know with other culture, but as I have left innocent years I always look for a cake every celebration I attended and whatever celebration in the family. That is why, as much as I can, I want to see a cake in every celebration in the family, it could be a birthday, anniversary, fiesta or any.

Last year's Mother's Day Photo

For me, every picture with mom records memories with her. Now I realized that I should have more pictures with her and with my father. Thank you for this contest, because I have noticed that I only have limited pictures with her, now I would like to store more captured memories.
