Happy Father's Week to all fathers in the whole world

This coming sunday we will all celebrate World Father's Day. It is 2 days from now. But before that day came, I want to introduce the father whom God given to raise me for who I am today and mold me to become closer to God.

The man in the cover photo is no other than my father, a selfless and silent father who works hard for the whole family for 27 years already. He married my mom 27 years ago, and a year after God gave me to them. They were blessed with three good children for 27 years of living. My father follows the Biblical pattern where God said to man in Genesis 3:19 By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread...

The picture above is our recent simple family picture. For all you know, my father is not a perfect father, he falls down, he sinned many times, and high tempered, but he tried to be perfect in our eyes. He worked any kind of work, it may be a blue or a white collar job but I see him no complains while working. He sweat in every work he offered to earn for the family. Inspite of trials at work, he never surrendered and sustained the needs of the family. Years getting old, with the help of his hardwork I graduated in college with the degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education class of 2016.

My father didn't stop working. I still have 2 siblings studying. He double time his work and sometimes look for creditors and lendings just to pay my brother's tuition fee. Since I already have work, I helped him to let my brother finished his school. But a trial in his part year 2018 when my brother announced that he failed a subject for his graduation. Everyone in the family is sad and hoping for a new hope. The graduation day came but my brother did not march on the stage. But on the following day,they were given a chance to retake and thanks God he passed. We are so very happy, and though he never march on the stage, he gave my father the diploma that pays the sweat and hardwork of my father.

Now, he is already 54 years old and we have 1 sibling left to finish her tourism course. 3 years ago my father lost his job because of election matters, new administration, new workers. I left working for the family. But it will not change the fact that my parents are also doing their part to raise the family. Now, my sister is in her 4th year of college and hopefully she will graduate next year.

My father works silently even if no one is looking to him. He never chooses what kind of work, constructon worker, janitor, production worker, laborer or it may be a white collar job as long as it is dignified. He doesn' care abouta other's negative opinions to him but he always think that he works for the family. Now that I have a work, with my brother also working, we let our parents rest from working but letting them stay home with their hobbies to do. Sometimes if we have extra budget, I treat them to eat outside. Small little things but will make them smile.
