BtcTurk, one of Turkey's well-known cryptocurrency exchanges , faced a very harsh claim today. BtcTurk responded to concerns about the issue, while the allegation that the data belonging to BtcTurk users was sold on a hacker forum called RaidForums created fear among users.

🔆BtcTurk Data Leaked?
On May 11, a user named "v0st3rmzz" shared a post stating that the user data of BtcTurk as well as cryptocurrency exchanges such as Indodax, uPlexa and Crypxie were captured. The e-mail address is also shared for those who want to receive in the shipment and screenshots of BtcTurk data are also transferred.

In the screenshots, an interface similar to the interface of BtcTurk appears and the seller stated that the information in question included the following:

"In addition to information such as name, surname, e-mail address, date of birth, telephone number, normal address and IP address, there are information about their balances and selfies taken with ID cards."

🚨BtcTurk Responds to Allegations
This actually means almost all important information for a user. BtcTurk, in his statement on the subject, emphasized that there were no security breaches in the systems and stated that there was actually no vulnerability. Stating that they attach importance to the protection of personal data, BtcTurk officials stated that the systems and the issue are being examined.

Although BtcTurk has not yet shared an official press release, it can be seen in the reply to the tweets that the subject is under review.
