Andreessen Horowitz ( #a16z), which has recently increased its investments in the crypto money industry and created a fund of more than 2 billion dollars in total for this purpose, also invested in the #Phantom #wallet provider, which switched to multi-chain technology. While Phantom has received a total investment of $9 million, #Solana and #Ethereum #Foundations are among the participants in the #funding round.
Other investors in the funding round were Variant Fund, Jump Capital, #DeFi Alliance, Ethereum Foundation, Solana Foundation Compound, #Audius, #Lolli and #Coinbase co-founder Garry Tan.
In the statement, it was stated that the fund will be used to grow the Phantom team, add new features to the platform and invest in other blockchain projects.

Founded by Brandon Millman, Chris Kalani and Francesco Agosti, Phantom has added 40,000 people to its platform since its beta launch in April 2021 and has also managed to receive $500,000 in grant funding from Serum and Solana.
Speaking about the investment they received in the funding round, one of the founders, Brandon Millman, said:
