The #SEC is under pressure from #Ripple.
In the ongoing lawsuit between Ripple and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), it was seen that the SEC specifically avoided disclosing documents about #BTC, #ETH and #XRP . These documents, which are critical for Ripple's defense, may have come to a position that cannot be escaped after the final trial victory.
🚩Ripple's Request Still Not Fulfilled
Ripple has been waiting for the SEC to deliver these documents for days, and what it can legally do about it is quite limited. Ripple, after pushing all the options and not getting results, stated that the SEC did not listen to the relevant decision, emphasizing that the SEC still has not submitted these documents and created a new request.
This new request, made on the last day of the week, highlights the SEC's failure to abide by the rules despite the court order. Stating that the SEC must comply with the very tight deadline, Ripple lawyers sought support from Judge Sarah Netburn for this.
Ripple has previously emphasized that in order to prove that XRP is not a security, the SEC must submit a recording of its talks and conversations regarding BTC and ETH to the court. Although this request was granted by the court, the SEC states that it is still "in the process of collecting" relevant paperwork. These documents are very important for Ripple's defense.
🚩Ripple Files New Request To SEC
Ripple made the request on the last day of the week, and the expected response for it is likely to come next week. Ripple seems to make the SEC's hand a little more difficult with the statement that "despite repeated instructions, the SEC resorts to delaying the submission of its conversations with other institutions"
Famous lawyer Jeremy Hogan, on the other hand, hinted that this process is quite tedious, but the SEC may be delaying it on purpose. Hogan said, “Doesn't the SEC want Ripple to see this?” In fact, he stated that this situation increased his own curiosity. For now, the curiosity of all investors may have increased in the same way.
The XRP price will move hard when this curiosity is resolved.
