In search of abusers // Weekly Report 73 // 24-09-2024.

Steemit is a platform open to anyone who wishes to share content, and for which they can receive rewards. This makes it vulnerable to the arrival of abusers who seek to take advantage of the system to try to cultivate rewards without respecting the policies or content protocol. that is, sharing plagiarized, spam, AI-generated content, violating copyright, and deleting content to reuse it.

The Steem Watcher team has been active in the task of stopping abusers as much as possible, strategically managing the different detectives to accompany the communities and cover the popular tags where content is also shared, with the task of reviewing each content and identify suspected cases of abuse and/or bounty farming.

As a detective, I review a set of publications (at least 20 publications daily), most of them comply with the content protocol, however, we should not omit the cases of abuse that were identified, as they can affect the reputation of the platform.

Below I share the cases that were detected, following up on the accounts that are showing irregular activity, and that were previously reported.
