I think officially, I need to eat banana leaf rice once a week. Same goes to my husband and my eldest son. I think they don't mind to eat 2-3 times a week.
I love it when I see a big portion of vegetables loaded unto the banana leaf, ladles of curry on the rice. So so satisfying. As always, super love the fried bitter gourd and the cucumber onion mayo vegetables, I think it is called 'rai-ta'. This time, instead of potatoes, they serve stir fry cabbage with mustard seeds and turmeric. Husband will always add on 'kambing varuval' and chicken 65 for us. Yums!
