至于认为高鹗写了续集的事，其实从来没有任何资料说是高鹗续写的，他只是说他家存有曹雪芹的原稿。可是因为很多人觉得前后道理讲不通，尤其是最后贾雨村这么坏的人都成道了，更是有违常理；所以觉得后面应该不是曹雪芹写的。
如果你知道贾宝玉和贾雨村其实说的是同一个人，是指人的心的两个面，你就知道这些结果是必然的了。
贾宝玉（假宝玉）是假的宝玉，大家觉得他很好，很聪明。其实贾宝玉有点笨，他老是放不下，老是想在温柔富贵乡里不得出离。贾宝玉为什么那么差呢? 家里太富贵，什么都好，对什么都非常执着；要大团圆，什么都想抓住；这恰恰是修行的障碍。
所以贾宝玉类似于那种渐修习气，毛病太多，不能一下顿悟就得慢慢修。经历很多的磨难，经历家庭变故之后放下了，也能成就。
所以贾宝玉，贾雨村是一个人，相当于是自性化现出来的两种人。就像如果生在富贵之家，可能就是贾宝玉这个样子，如果生在贫穷之家，就相当于贾雨村那个样子。
