One of the true Islamic stories about honesty this time comes from the time of the Caliph Uman bin Khattab. At that time, there lived a mother and her daughter who both worked as milk sellers in Medina. One day, their milk is more expensive than other traders. Their merchandise was empty of buyers. Cheap milk that is sold at low prices, by other traders, is due to the fact that milk is mixed with water. The mother had wanted to cheat like other traders, because she was pressed for economic needs. But the girl refused, and reminded her mother to take refuge in Allah from various kinds of evil. One day, another merchant came up and suggested that they lower the price of milk and mix it with water. However, the mother refused even though she was persuaded. Finally, one of the merchants felt humiliated. After the evening prayer, the Caliph Umar chatted with another friend, he heard complaints from the public that goat's milk sold in the market often tasted runny like water mixed. He both finally decided to investigate. The friend finally went to the market to deliver the message of Caliph Umar, which prohibited mixing goat's milk with water. The merchant who mixed the milk and water felt shaken. They also came to the mother and confronted her, prejudice against the mother that she was the one who complained about this to the caliph. Other traders also expelled the mother from the market. Finally, the mother and her child were selling things around until a few months later. However, the fraudulent traders were not discouraged, they made plans to sell cheap milk to homes so that the mother and her child would be deterred. That night, Caliph Umar gathered his friends to carry out an inspection because he still heard the complaints of the people. Arriving at a house, Caliph Umar heard a conversation between the mother and her child, about goat's milk. The next day, Caliph Umar proposed to the girl who sold the goat's milk to be married to his son, Asim bin Umar. A history states that from their lineage, the Caliph Umar bin Abdul Aziz was born, who was even said to be the fifth caliph after the Caliph Ali bin Abu Talib.
