The unexpected tragedy of a dovelet
Just as I walked out of my office this morning with a tomato and a cake, it so happened that a very young dovelet plumped to the floor of our office building from a hole near the eaves and killed himself at the instant.
Blood was oozing from the injury that was causd by hitting hard on the floor. This was a tragedy not only for the parents of the dovelet but also for me.
Our kind-hearted fellow office girls chanted a prayer for him, wishing him the best. Eventually the dovelet was taken away and given a proper burial by another colleague. If the little bird did not die, he would be able to enjoy a big family reunion with the dove family in the wild.
