Members of the Bireuen Police Traffic Unit together with the Bireuen Transportation Service, Jasa Raharja, Dansubdenpom Bireuen and others as well as the community, Wednesday (3/7/2024) closed potholes in several places on national roads.

In this activity, members of the Traffic Police in one pickup vehicle carried materials ranging from cement, sand and stone as well as water plus other equipment such as shovels and others.

On the wall of the pickup truck, a banner was displayed containing the message that Bireuen was free from accidents. Members of the Traffic Police together with others started work to close one of the potholes in the Simpang Empat Bireuen area.

Road holes with a diameter of more than 50 cm and a depth of around 15 cm are very dangerous for motorists. Satlantas members shared their duties, some were managing traffic flow with members of Dansubdenpom Bireuen, others were mixing cement in wheelbarrows.

Other members of the Traffic Police, including Head of the Traffic Unit, Inspector Mulyadi SH MH, KBO Laka Ipda Sufyani closed the potholes with cement that had been mixed together with the residents. Likewise, employees of the Bireuen Transportation Service, Jasa Raharja, also closed the potholes.

After closing the potholes in the Bireuen intersection area, members of the Traffic Police and other stakeholders moved to other points both to the west of the intersection, east and on the Bireuen Takengon road section.
