Acting Regent Signs Inscription for Integrated Services at Dr Fauziah Regional Hospital.

Acting (Pj) Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, PhD signed the inscription and together with the Director at Central BPJS, Dr Dr Mahlil Ruby, MKes and Chair of the Supervisory Board of RSUD Dr Fauziah, Prof Dr Dr Syahrul, Sp.S (K), Friday (12/ 7/2024) morning, launching integrated services at the Dr Fauziah Regional General Hospital (RSUD).

After this activity, the relevant officials also inspected several service rooms such as the neurosurgery room, PICU, X-ray, emergency room, as well as the Juangjek stand for Intat Medicine Services (LIBAT) in collaboration with Dr Fauziah Regional Hospital.

Director of RSUD Dr Fauziah Bireuen, Dr Mukhtar MARS in his report said that there were four types of services at the launch, namely code stroke implementation services, neurosurgery, drug rehabilitation centers, drug Intat services (LIBAT) in collaboration with Juangjek.

The aim of opening this service is also to become a promotional event to share information with the people of Bireuen in particular and Aceh in general. "We hope that RSUD Dr Fauziah Bireuen can continue to move forward by providing new superior services that can improve the level of public health," he explained.

Currently, the number of sub-specialty services (consultants) that are running are spine consultants, vascular surgery consultants, pediatric emergency and intensive care consultants (PICU) or Prediatic Intensive Care Units, digestive surgery consultants and cardio vascular consultants.

"Meanwhile there are several sub-specialist doctors who are currently studying and will soon complete their education and return to Dr. Fauziah Regional Hospital," explained Dr. Mukhtar when the activity was attended by Forkopimda, officials, doctors and staff, as well as invited guests.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RSUD Dr. Fauziah Bireuen, Prof. Dr. Dr. Syahrul Sp.S (K), in his direction, hopes that to provide the best service to the community, plus the opening of an integrated service today which is spearheaded by specialist doctors and all employees must work well and work with heart.

So there is no benefit to Intat Medication (LIBAT) services if the service is good in the Emergency Room (IGD) and the unit is not optimal or not good. At Dr Fauziah Regional Hospital, various services are available including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) medical equipment and Computed Tomography Scan. (CT Scan) and others.

Regarding code stroke implementation services, one of the flagship services of the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) and there are integrated doctors from hospitals, and it is hoped that sub-district heads, heads of community health centers and the community will be invited to socialize.

If a resident becomes paralyzed, can't speak, or has other symptoms, they are immediately taken to the emergency room at Dr Fauziah Regional Hospital. There is no need to take a referral and stop by the community health center first and immediately take them to Dr Fauziah Regional Hospital. "If necessary, the Director of Dr. Fauziah Regional Hospital, if there is a patient, provide an ambulance to pick him up or the community health center will immediately bring an ambulance to take him to Dr. Fauziah Regional Hospital," he advised.

This is much more valuable and if it can be done well it can reduce the number of disabilities caused by stroke, and also reduce deaths due to stroke.

"Bireuen is one of the districts that contributes to the highest number of deaths due to stroke. So you cannot take patients to private hospitals that don't have CT scans, that's not allowed, you have to go to Dr. Fauziah Regional Hospital," he stressed.

The Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, in her speech also hoped that by launching this service, the aim would be to provide excellent service to the people who had been coming to Dr Fauziah Hospital since morning from 6.00 WIB to queue.

"Today we are carrying out this launch so that the public knows that this service already exists in Bireuen and please use it as well as possible by the community, our job from the government is to provide the best possible service, and cooperation with BPJS is also very much needed for the success of a hospital in financing," he said.

"To specialist doctors to be able to support the service being launched, and we as the regional government will collaborate with the DPRK to allocate the budget and will also pick up budget issues from the Ministry of Health and other parties," concluded Aulia Sofyan.

Meanwhile, the Director of Development Planning and Risk Management of BPJS Central Health, Dr. Dr. Mahlil Ruby MKes, on this occasion conveyed many things, including his story from 1998 as Head of the Jeumpa Bireuen Community Health Center during the Aceh conflict.

So that if the doctor comes in on time there will be no accumulation of patients in the waiting room. "The impact of the picture of poor health services occurring in our hospitals is that some patients go to Penang for treatment," he said and hoped that there would be improvements in terms of services, including pharmacies.
