In the meantime I was sitting on the plane to Frankfurt and thought back to the beautiful weeks with Lek, the exploration of Bangkok, this fascinating city of angels, city of a hundred thousand smells and impressions, city of culture and cosmopolitanism, city of most saleable goods in the world, provided you know where to find them 😅.

The flight went well, from Frankfurt I took the Intercity to Stuttgart. I arrived home in good spirits. At that time I was still married, the marriage was broken, before this trip I told my ex I needed a few weeks off to clear my head.
Ok, I went into the house and saw my wife standing at the top of the stairs leading to the first floor.
She had the printouts of the photos with Lek in her hand 😱,
somehow she had gotten access to my mails, the photographer of Thailand was faster, much faster than I thought.
She yelled at me that she was getting divorced, I replied that I intended to do the same. Finally it was done, for a long time I lacked the courage to take this step, now Lek had practically helped me to do it.
The next day my wife moved out to a friend's house, I hired a lawyer for the divorce and put my house up for sale because I knew I would have to pay off my wife. The next days I had always contact to Lek, she was back home in Laos by now. We discussed plans for the future and Lek invited me to Laos, I was supposed to fly from Bangkok straight to Vientianne, the capital of Laos. She was going to pick me up from the airport and they were going to throw a big party for me at her house.
It took less than 2 weeks until my flight to Vientianne via Bangkok 😅
