Spring in Quarantine - The Rhythm of Nature

I knew inside me that sooner or later we would have had to deal with a virus and a probable epidemic but I didn't think so soon.

When I wake up in the morning and open the window of my bedroom, the feeling I feel is very strange because it seems to be in a movie. There is no one on the street, there are no anthropic noises ... a deafening silence.

Here in Italy now that I am writing 28980 infected and 2158 dead have been ascertained.

The situation is serious, however, the Italians are responding well to government directives by staying isolated at home to avoid spreading the virus.

Unfortunately, I know that other countries, although they have had time to take preventive measures against the pandemic, have not done so and now the virus is spreading very quickly.

The British government is the one that worries me most about the absurd choice they have made putting at risk the population that could be decimated.

Last Sunday was a fantastic day with a beautiful spring sun.

If we weren't in a period of epidemic emergency I would have gone for a walk in nature or in a city of art, but you have to be responsible, so I went to the garden and inspired by the first spring flowers I took the photo camera and shot a short video which expresses the sentiment of these almost surreal days.

Sapevo dentro di me che prima o poi avremmo avuto a che fare con un virus e una probabile epidemia ma non pensavo così presto.

Quando mi sveglio la mattina e apro la fineStra dellletto la sensazione che provo è stranissima perchè sembra di essere in un film. Per strada non c'è nessuno, non ci sono rumori antropici...un silenzio assordante.

Qui in Italia ora che sto scrivendo sono stati accertati 28980 contagiati e 2158 deceduti.

La situazione è grave però gli italiani stanno rispondendo bene alle direttive del governo stando a casa isolati per evitare il difforndersi del virus.

Purtroppo noto che gli altri paesi anche se hanno avuto tempo per predere misure preventive contro la pandemia, non l'hanno fatto e ora il virus si sta diffondendo molto velocemente.

Il governo inglese è quello che mi preoccupa di più per la scelta assurda che hanno fatto mettendo a rischio la popolazione che potrebbe essere decimata.

La scorsa domenica è stata una giornata fantastica con un bellissimo sole primaverile.

Se non fossimo in un periodo di emergenza epidemica sarei andato a camminare nella natura o in una città d'arte, ma bisogna essere responsabili, così sono andato in giardino e ispirato dai primi fiori primaverili ho preso la fotocamera e ho girato un breve video che esprime il sentimento di questi giorni quasi surreali.
